Legendaries

In Pre-Season 2 we will mainly be playing a Spirit Heartseeker Barrage build with Chain Of Starstriker's Ascent. Though if you prefer the playstyle of the Highwind Arrow build you should run Shimmering Silver Cape for its synergy.

Chain Of Starstriker's Ascent: This legendary is BiS for the Spirit Heartseeker Barrage build we will be focusing on in Pre-Season 2. It causes your Spirit Refunds to have a 50% chance to reset the cooldown of your Heartseeker Barrage and grant you Impending Heartseeker. Stacking amazingly with the new change to our Spirit Refunds by default now applying 5 stacks of Lunarlight Mark on our main target and 2 stacks on up to 2 enemies near them. On top of the additional change to Heartseeker Barrage granting it a 20% chance on triggering a Lunarlight Salvo to erupt it dealing 100% of Lunarlight Salvo's damage to up to 12 enemies around it. The neck hopefully allows us late game to drop Impending Heartseeker freeing up 3 points to be used in any number of ways (probably on defensives) or have so many procs we are always barraging.

Master Astronomer's Sabatons: It increases the duration of your Starfall Volley by 2 seconds, and while Starfall Volley is active, it's duration is extended by 0.5 seconds each time you cast Multishot (includes Empowered Multishot casts). This provides a solid damage gain in AoE situations and an alright amount of damage in single target situations.

Shimmering Silver Cape: This legendary is BiS for the Highwind Arrow build and is the second best for the Heartseeker Barrage build if you happen to not get the neck early. It makes your Highwind Arrow apply a debuff on enemies that increases your damage dealt to them by 10% per stack, stacking up to 2 times for a total of 20% increased damage. For the Highwind Arrow build this provides an insane synergy, great single target damage, and good AoE damage. For the Heartseeker Barrage build this provides a good amount of priority target damage, just remember to double Highwind Arrow your main target before barraging if you can.

Note: If you are having difficulty acquiring your legendary when you get to Eternal you can use Arcane Mithril to reforge a 270 piece that shares a slot with the legendary you want for a chance to get a 270 version of the legendary in that slot, until you can drop the 330 version. For example reforging a random 270 necklace for a chance at Chain Of Starstriker's Ascent.

Weapons

Elarion's best single target weapon is Void-Touched Bow. This weapon allows you to emphasize your priority target damage and blow up valuable mobs in a pack. This weapon gets increasingly more valuable the higher you push in Eternal due to the emphasis required on priority target damage. Best used after you've thrown up your buffs and right before you start dealing damage. For example in the Heartseeker Barrage build its right after you apply Lunarlight Mark before you press Heartseeker Barrage.

Asha's Chronoshift Bow is another fantastic weapon for Elarion though it can be annoying to play around at times. If the channel gets interrupted for any reason it can lead to awkward cd timings where you may have to use your ultimate without Skystrider's Grace or hold your ultimate until you have it. This mainly happens if you have Visions Of Grandeur and get the extra spirirt without the cooldown of Skystrider's Grace being reduced from the full weapon channel. Outside of your ultimate this weapon has pretty good damage itself and can help you have damage and resets in packs where you might run dry on procs with its ability to reset most of your cooldowns. I would recommend trying it out and seeing how you like it compared to Void-Touched Bow.

Gear Sets

Set bonuses have the capacity to be extremely powerful. Different dungeons drop different sets allowing you to target farm the bonuses you want. Early to Midgame these sets can be a fantastic source of power before you get all the gems you need to swap out of them entirely. You can have a maximum of two major sets equipped at one time. Below I’ve listed the two most important set bonuses you’ll want to acquire for Elarion early there is also a minor set further down that is a fantastic source of damage you can pick up without sacrificing the major sets:

Drakheim's Absolution: This is a nice and simple 20% increase to Agility during your ultimate. Due to its synergy with our spirit build simply because of how many ultimates we cast in a dungeon this is our best set. Either of the two sets bellow pair nicely with this one. (Ideally Chest and Legs)

Dark Prophecy: This is a simple 25% haste proc that activates roughly once per minute. With how valuable haste is for our damage, this set feels amazing to play especially when you high roll and proc during your ultimate. (Ideally Head and Shoulders)

Torment Of Bael'aurum: This is a solid damage source with the +4% mainstat it gives us. It also has a nice defensive on it that can save you in some potentially fatal scenarios.

Minor Set

Death's Grasp: This set provides a nice 3% increase to spirit and 15% increased damage to low health enemies. The execute both adds a good amount of damage itself and synergizes nicely with Last Lights.

Relics

Relics are entirely utility focused in Fellowship and the majority aren’t unique to specific heroes so it allows for a lot of change. While you can use any relic, there are a couple that are arguably the best of the bunch in a general sense.

S-Tier Relics

Sinbinding Stone - Grants 15% damage reduction to yourself and nearby allies for 15 seconds on a 3 minute cooldown. This Relic is extremely powerful, particularly on some of the harder bosses in the game.

A-Tier Relics

Grimoire Of Resurrection - A simple combat rez. It has a small cast time with a 5 minute cooldown.

Ancient Wardstone - Instantly dispel all harmful magic effects from yourself and allies on a 2 minute cooldown. This can be extremely good in some dungeons depending on how you’re pulling.

Saltwash Elixir - Instantly heals you for 40% of your max hp on a 2 minute cooldown.

Coordination Required Relics

Ancient Poultry Fetish - Turns your target into a chicken. Permanently. This cannot be used on Bosses but there are pulls in dungeons where utilizing this Relic makes life so much easier. It has shared uses by the party on a 3 minute cooldown, so its value lessens with multiple users in the same party, alongside the fact there are much better relics on offer. Keep in mind that turning a monster into a chicken removes the kill score they would otherwise give.

Orb Of Shadows - Party wide invisibility for 15 seconds on a 6 minute cooldown. There aren’t too many notable uses of this but it can be strong if you plan around skipping packs with this.

Bloodrite Drums - A 12 second, 50% movement speed increase for you and your allies on a 90 second cooldown. It’s not great.

Humming Portalstone - Opens an interactable portal. You can only have 1 of these active at any time and there is a 20 second cooldown on how often you can take the portal. It has a 2 minute cooldown. With coordinated play it could be useful but for most it’s not a great option.
