BiS Gear
The Best in Slot (BiS) Legendary, Weapon and Relics for Elarion are shown below.
Legendaries
In Season 3 we will mainly be playing a Spirit Heartseeker Barrage build with Signet Of Starstriker's Ascent. Though if you prefer the playstyle of the Highwind Arrow build you should run Shimmering Silver Cape for its synergy.
Signet Of Starstriker's Ascent: This legendary is BiS for the Spirit Heartseeker Barrage build we will be focusing on in Season 3. It causes your Spirit Refunds to have a 50% chance to reset the cooldown of Heartseeker Barrage and grant you the Impending Heartseeker buff. This stacks amazingly with our Spirit Refunds that apply 3 stacks of Lunarlight Mark on our main target and 1 stack on up to 2 enemies near them. Lastly, Heartseeker Barrage has a 20% chance on triggering a Lunarlight Salvo to erupt it, dealing 100% of Lunarlight Salvo's damage to up to 12 nearby enemies.
Master Astronomer's Bracers: Increases the duration of your Starfall Volley by 3 seconds. While Starfall Volley is active, it's duration is extended by 0.5 seconds each time you cast Multishot (includes Empowered Multishot casts).
Shimmering Silver Cape: This legendary is BiS for the Highwind Arrow build and is the second best legendary for the Heartseeker Barrage build, if you happen to not get the neck early. It makes your Highwind Arrow apply a debuff on enemies that increases your damage dealt to them by 10% per stack, stacking up to 2 times for a total of 20% increased damage. For the Highwind Arrow build this provides an insane synergy, great single target damage, and good AoE damage. For the Heartseeker Barrage build this provides a good amount of priority target damage, just remember to double Highwind Arrow your main target before barraging if you can.
Weapons
Elarion's best single target weapon is Void-Touched Bow. This weapon allows you to emphasize your priority target damage and blow up valuable mobs in a pack. This weapon gets increasingly more valuable the higher you push in Eternal due to the emphasis required on priority target damage. Best used after you've thrown up your buffs and right before you start dealing damage. For example in the Heartseeker Barrage build its right after you apply Lunarlight Mark before you press Heartseeker Barrage.
Asha's Chronoshift Bow is another fantastic weapon for Elarion though it can be annoying to play around at times. If the channel gets interrupted for any reason it can lead to awkward cd timings where you may have to use your ultimate without Skystrider's Grace or hold your ultimate until you have it. This mainly happens if you have Visions Of Grandeur and get the extra spirirt without the cooldown of Skystrider's Grace being reduced from the full weapon channel.
Outside of your ultimate this weapon has pretty good damage itself and can help you have damage and resets in packs where you might run dry on procs with its ability to reset most of your cooldowns. I would recommend trying it out and seeing how you like it compared to Void-Touched Bow.
Gear Sets
There are currently three sets that perform insanely well on Elarion and we will be aiming for them as soon as possible.
Drakheim's Absolution: This set provides a nice and simple 20% increase to Agility during your ultimate. Due to its synergy with our spirit build simply because of how many ultimates we cast in a dungeon, and how much damage we do during them, this is our best set.
Death's Grasp: This set provides a nice 4% increase to spirit and 10% increased damage to low health enemies. The execute both adds a significant amount of damage itself and synergizes nicely with Last Lights.
Seal Of The Heskyr: This set makes all of our Gem Power sources 25% stronger.
There are two sets below that provide a good amount of passive damage via their procs and may end up beating out Death's Grasp.
Dark Prophecy: This set makes your abilities have a chance to provide you with a 25% haste buff for 20 seconds. It is amazing damage when it procs at the right time, however there's a chance the procs happen at the wrong time or with nothing up losing a bit of value.
Draconic Might: This set makes your critical strikes have a chance to provide you with an 18% agility buff for 14 seconds. It provides a solid amount of damage when it procs at the right time, however as above with Dark Prophecy there are situations that waste the set's bonus.
Relics
The relics in Fellowship are almost entirely utility focused and they are therefore very situational, although there are some that are generally more useful than others. In Early Access Season 3, Relics also roll Modifiers.
S-Tier Relics
Sinbinding Stone - Grants 15% damage reduction to yourself and nearby allies for 15 seconds on a 3 minute cooldown. This Relic is extremely powerful, particularly on some of the harder bosses in the game.
A-Tier Relics
Grimoire Of Resurrection - A simple combat revive. It has a small cast time with a 5 minute cooldown.
Ancient Wardstone - Instantly dispel all harmful magic effects from yourself and allies on a 2 minute cooldown. This can be extremely good in some dungeons depending on how you’re pulling.
Saltwash Elixir - Instantly heals you for 40% of your max hp on a 2 minute cooldown.
Coordination Required Relics
Ancient Poultry Fetish - Turns your target into a chicken. Permanently. This cannot be used on Bosses but there are pulls in dungeons where utilizing this Relic makes life so much easier. It has shared uses by the party on a 3 minute cooldown, so its value lessens with multiple users in the same party, alongside the fact there are much better relics on offer. Keep in mind that turning a monster into a chicken removes the kill score they would otherwise give.
Orb Of Shadows - Party wide invisibility for 15 seconds on a 6 minute cooldown. There aren’t too many notable uses of this but it can be strong if you plan around skipping packs with this.
Bloodrite Drums - A 12 second, 50% movement speed increase for you and your allies on a 90 second cooldown. It’s not great.
Humming Portalstone - Opens an interactable portal. You can only have 1 of these active at any time and there is a 20 second cooldown on how often you can take the portal. It has a 2 minute cooldown. With coordinated play it could be useful but for most it’s not a great option.
