Legendaries

Of the three legendary's that Elarion has access to we will mainly be playing around two of them: Master Astronomer's Sabatons or Shimmering Silver Cape. The third Chain Of Starstriker's Ascent is currently underwhelming because of how our spirit refunds work outside of simply proccing the legendary. However any legendary you get first can be equipped for a nice damage gain.

Master Astronomer's Sabatons: This legendary is BiS for the Heartseeker Barrage build in most situations. It increases the duration of your Starfall Volley by 2 seconds, and while Starfall Volley is active, it's duration is extended by 0.5 seconds each time you cast Multishot (includes Empowered Multishot casts). This provides us with a massive damage gain in AoE situations and a solid damage increase in single target situations.

Shimmering Silver Cape: This legendary is Bis for the Highwind Arrow build and can also be used in the Heartseeker Barrage build if you like the playstyle or need more single target/priority target damage. It makes your Highwind Arrow apply a debuff on enemies that increases your damage dealt to them by 10% per stack, stacking up to 2 times for a total of 20% increased damage. For the Highwind Arrow build this provides an insane synergy, great single target damage, and good AoE damage. For the Heartseeker Barrage build it provides a good amount of single and priority target damage at the cost of AoE damage from Master Astronomer's Sabatons.

Weapons

Elarion’s best overall weapon is Asha's Chronoshift Bow. This weapon provides a massive 800% CDR on everything (equates to about 24s with a full channel). It allows you to spend more time inside your CDs, more time with Starfall Volley active, more priority damage with Heartseeker Barrage; it’s just an all round beast of a weapon.

Elarion's best single target weapon is Void-Touched Bow. This weapon allows you to emphasize your priority target damage and blow up valuable mobs in a pack. This weapon gets increasingly more valuable the higher you push in Eternal due to the emphasis required on priority target damage, and with the right weapon traits it maintains a solid amount of AOE damage (via Amethyst Splinters and Kindling).

Gear Sets

Set bonuses have the capacity to be extremely powerful. Different dungeons drop different sets allowing you to farm your best in slot bonuses. Early to Midgame you’ll only want 4 of your gear pieces to be set bonuses and the rest socket pieces (because of how gem power works). This allows us to retain access to 2 separate major set bonuses at any given time in our set-up. Below I’ve listed the two most important set bonuses you’ll want to acquire for Elarion:

Drakheim's Absolution: This is a nice and simple 20% increase to Agility during your ultimate. (Ideally Head and Necklace)

Dark Prophecy: This is a simple 25% haste proc that activates roughly once per minute. With how valuable haste is for our damage, this set is easily our best and simplest option of the bunch. (Ideally Shoulders and Legs)

Relics

Relics are entirely utility focused in Fellowship and the majority aren’t unique to specific heroes so it allows for a lot of change. While you can use any relic, there are a couple that are arguably the best of the bunch in a general sense.

S-Tier Relics

Sinbinding Stone - Grants 15% damage reduction to yourself and nearby allies for 15 seconds on a 3 minute cooldown. This Relic is extremely powerful, particularly on some of the harder bosses in the game.

A-Tier Relics

Grimoire Of Resurrection - A simple combat rez. It has a small cast time with a 5 minute cooldown.

Ancient Wardstone - Instantly dispel all harmful magic effects from yourself and allies on a 2 minute cooldown. This can be extremely good in some dungeons depending on how you’re pulling.

Saltwash Elixir - Instantly heals you for 40% of your max hp on a 2 minute cooldown.

Coordination Required Relics

Ancient Poultry Fetish - Turns your target into a chicken. Permanently. This cannot be used on Bosses but there are pulls in dungeons where utilizing this Relic makes life so much easier. It has shared uses by the party on a 3 minute cooldown, so its value lessens with multiple users in the same party, alongside the fact there are much better relics on offer. Keep in mind that turning a monster into a chicken removes the kill score they would otherwise give.

Orb Of Shadows - Party wide invisibility for 15 seconds on a 6 minute cooldown. There aren’t too many notable uses of this but it can be strong if you plan around skipping packs with this.

Bloodrite Drums - A 12 second, 50% movement speed increase for you and your allies on a 90 second cooldown. It’s not great.

Humming Portalstone - Opens an interactable portal. You can only have 1 of these active at any time and there is a 20 second cooldown on how often you can take the portal. It has a 2 minute cooldown. With coordinated play it could be useful but for most it’s not a great option.
