Amulet Of Unyielding Bloom increases the strength of your Heart Bloom allowing it to generate absorb shields from overhealing. This is great for using your initial ticks of Heart Bloom to dampen incoming damage and the later ticks to heal the party back up.

Mossy Veil Of The Woodlands is a great option as well, especially when healing a Helena. Helena gains block value from armor, as well as physical damage reduction. With Helena being the meta tank in the current patch, you are likely to see more Sylvies running this Legendary. When doing high Eternal content (40+), this item starts to yield greater value than the Legendary neck. It simply scales better than the neck, as the absorb is capped at a multiple of your Intellect.

When deciding between the two legendary choices, it is important to consider what is holding your group back from progressing. For most of the game, tanks are generally not going to struggle to survive trash pulls. However, at the very high end of eternal, tanks living is going to be the limiting factor for many dungeon/affix combos.

Zeraleth's Scythe allows you to contribute meaningful single target burst damage as Sylvie, which can have great utility for priority mobs or adds that bosses may spawn (think Everdawn Grove Corruption Totems or Ransack of Drakheim Dark Ritual). It also provides substantial burst healing.

While leveling, just equip Relics of the highest item level. However, in the endgame relics should be swapped around depending on the route and dungeon you are running. Try to hold on to as many different relics as you can.

Legendaries

On Sylvie you have 2 main legendaries that are worth grabbing and you can swap between depending on what you value.

Mossy Veil Of The Woodlands: This Legendary makes your Fluttercall: Restore Life grant the target 10% increased stamina and 20% increased armour. It's particularly great if you're healing Helena Tanks and is mostly used for that purpose.

Amulet Of Unyielding Bloom: This Legendary makes 75% of your overhealing by Heart Bloom apply an absorb to allies that lasts 15 seconds. It's extremely strong since it increases your parties effective health pool for simply using your cooldowns like you otherwise would.

Weapons

Sylvie actually has a few options when it comes to weapons depending on what you want. The Best in Slot Weapon is the Zeraleth's Sycthe, with a great alternative of Elheryn's Cache. You can also opt for Iceshaper's Brand if you want a more hands off healing approach.

In most cases, as long as you and your group are surviving, you’ll be grand. Certain dungeons have some extremely challenging bosses to heal and as a result, increasing our throughput with a weapon can be very valuable. With this in mind here, and given the fact most of you are pugging and won’t have a choice in what dungeon you land in, here are what I believe to be the best Sylvie weapons:

  • Zeraleth's Sycthe - This weapon deals massive amounts of single target damage that converts to healing on yourself, and any overhealing that does to the party. It’s not a large amount of healing so it’s mostly just big single target damage this weapon provides.
  • Iceshaper's Brand - This weapon is a great general choice, particularly for hard to heal dungeons where an extra cooldown can be really nice, or if you’re battling with the Carnage or Shadowlord affixes. The main drawback of this weapon is that it doesn’t have any offensive component to it.
  • Elheryn's Cache - This weapon has very good single target burst healing and damage. The weapon tree makes this even better later on.

Gear Sets

Set bonuses have the capacity to be extremely powerful. Different dungeons drop different sets allowing you to farm your best in slot bonuses. Generally, these will only be used in the early to midgame. In the late endgame, it is better to go for a full socket build.

Torment Of Bael'aurum: This is the cheat-death type effect from Wraithtide. This set is super valuable for healers as your life is extremely valuable and anything that can help keep you safe from heavy damage is a huge positive. It also provides 4% int at all times.

Draconic Might: This gives you critical strikes a chance to increase your Intellect by 18% for 15 seconds. It has a roughly 25% uptime so it's a lot of main stat at any given time, making everything you do far more effective during this buff.

Relics

Relics are entirely utility focused in Fellowship and they mostly aren’t unique to specific heroes so it allows for a lot of change. While you can use any relic, there are a couple that are considerably notable and arguably the best of the bunch in a general sense.

S Tier Relics

Sinbinding Stone - Grants 15% damage reduction to yourself and nearby allies for 15 seconds on a 3 minute cooldown. This Relic is extremely powerful, particularly on some of the harder bosses in the game. Sylvie is a great utlity-relic-holder. She will not suffer greatly from the varying stats and ultimately her stats are less important than those of your dps and tank. Offer to run utility relics when your routes call for them.

A Tier Relics

Chalice Of Al’zerac’s Essence - returns 30% of your maximum mana. A very nice trinket particularly if your group is doing very aggressive pulls.

Grimoire Of Resurrection - A simple combat rez. It has a small cast time with a 5 minute cooldown. Great if your party lacks the ability to rez.

Ancient Wardstone - Instantly dispel all harmful magic effects from yourself and allies on a 2 minute cooldown. This can be extremely good in some dungeons depending on how you’re pulling.

Saltwash Elixir - Instantly heals you for 40% of your max hp on a 2 minute cooldown.

Ancient Poultry Fetish - Turns your target into a chicken. Permanently. This cannot be used on Bosses but there are pulls in dungeons where utilizing this Relic makes life so much easier. It has shared uses by the party on a 3 minute cooldown, so its value lessens with multiple users in the same party, alongside the fact there are much better relics on offer.

B Tier Relics

Orb Of Shadows - Party wide invisibility for 15 seconds on a 6 minute cooldown. There aren’t too many notable uses of this but it can be strong if you plan around skipping packs with this.

Bloodrite Drums - A 12 second, 50% movespeed increase for you and your allies. It’s not great.

Humming Portalstone - Opens an interactable portal. You can only have 1 of these active at any time and there is a short cooldown on how often you can take the portal. It has a 2 minute cooldown. With coordinated play it could be useful but for most it’s not a great option.
