Legendaries

Eldrin Amulet Of Undulating Spirits is the current Best in Slot legendary. The Legendary gives a free ultimate at the start of a dungeon as well as more ultimates over the course of a dungeon thanks to gaining more Spirit from each Spirit Refund. In combination with Drakheim's Absolution, Ancestral Surge - II, and Sapphire Aurastone, this Legendary has become very powerful and the go-to pick for high-end pushing.

Drakesblood Tapestry offers a very simple rotation, high damage output, and empowers the already amazing Beam build. While falling short of the neck legendary power-wise, it is still highly competitive and shouldn't be ignored.

Skandi's Sabatons Of Endless Winter is also as powerful as the cape, enabling Cascading Blitz builds, generally more single target damage, and a more forgiving rotation for beam or spender builds.

The Legendaries affect gameplay and rotation so make sure to check out Playstyle & Rotation.

Weapons

Rime actually has a couple of options when it comes to weapons. There is a best weapon that stands above the rest, but the others are still definitely usable and later on can provide some very powerful weapon trees.

Void-Touched Conduit - Our Best in Slot Weapon. This weapon applies a debuff to your target for 15 seconds which stores 10% of all the damage you deal and once you have done a certain amount of damage or the effect expires, it explodes to deal additional damage to the target. It’s a very good priority damage option that always explodes prior to expiration.

Frozen Staff Of An'zhyr - With recent buffs in Pre-Season 2, this weapon has become much more of a viable pick. This weapon can be used off of the global GCD and conjures 3 waves that deal damage to all enemies that are hit by it and applying a permanent dot on each target. While it's single target damage is a little lacking, it makes up for it in large AoE damage.

Asha's Chronoshift Spire - This weapon is a channeled AoE that pulses damage around you. While you channel, you get 400% increased CDR and take 50% reduced damage. While it's damage is strong and the potential for the weapon is high, the three second channel time and long cooldown make it difficult to play with and is out performed by other options.

Gear Sets

Set Bonuses are very strong, especially so in the early game before you reach Eternal. However - keep in mind there is certain Set/Gem Socket loadouts depending on your number of sets worn. Below is a table to explain what this means.

Number of Sets Worn Total Sockets Available
0 set 11
1 Set 9
2 Set 7
3 Set 5
4 Set 3

With the current builds and playstyles, the recommendation is running 1 set and 9 sockets. At the moment one set in particular is dominating the meta with two being safe alternatives.

Drakheim's Absolution: This is the 20% Intellect on Spirit Ultimate use set. This set is good for maximizing the DPS potential of your Wrath Of Winter windows. This is currently seen as the best set for Rime due to the sheer amount of strength in the 6 blue gem investment level (Ancestral Surge - II) as well as the recent changes to how spirit works.

The next two set's are decent alternatives and nice to hold onto when gearing up.

Draconic Might: This is the 18% Intellect on crit proc set. This averages around 25% uptime and is good value for the slots.

Dark Prophecy: This is the 25% haste proc on spell cast set. This averages around 25% uptime and is good value for the slots.

Relics

Relics are entirely utility focused in Fellowship and they mostly aren’t unique to specific heroes so it allows for a lot of change. While you can use any relic, there are a couple that are considerably notable and arguably the best of the bunch in a general sense.

S-Tier Relics

Sinbinding Stone - Grants 15% damage reduction to yourself and nearby allies for 15 seconds on a 3 minute cooldown. This Relic is extremely powerful, particularly on some of the harder bosses in the game.

A-Tier Relics

Grimoire Of Resurrection - A simple combat rez. It has a small cast time with a 5 minute cooldown. Great if your party lacks the ability to rez.

Ancient Wardstone - Instantly dispel all harmful magic effects from yourself and allies on a 2 minute cooldown. This can be extremely good in some dungeons depending on how you’re pulling.

Saltwash Elixir - Instantly heals you for 40% of your max hp on a 2 minute cooldown.

Ancient Poultry Fetish - Turns your target into a chicken. Permanently. This cannot be used on Bosses but there are pulls in dungeons where utilizing this Relic makes life so much easier. It has shared uses by the party on a 3 minute cooldown, so its value lessens with multiple users in the same party, alongside the fact there are much better relics on offer.

B-Tier Relics

Orb Of Shadows - Party wide invisibility for 15 seconds on a 6 minute cooldown. There aren’t too many notable uses of this but it can be strong if you plan around skipping packs with this.

Bloodrite Drums - A 12 second, 50% movespeed increase for you and your allies. It’s not great.

Humming Portalstone - Opens an interactable portal. You can only have 1 of these active at any time and there is a short cooldown on how often you can take the portal. It has a 2 minute cooldown. With co-ordinated play it could be useful but for most it’s not a great option.
