Wristbands Of Vexira's Prey is better for finisher focused builds, and Assassin's Shadow-Lined Cape is better for Bleed focused builds

Sahril's Reckoning is stronger early on in progression, Fateful Dagger becomes better once cooldown acceleration is more desirable

Relics are taken based on which effect is needed on a per dungeon basis. Coordinate with your team or take the ones you prefer.

Legendaries

On Mara we have access to 3 Legendaries, Wristbands Of Vexira's Prey & Assassin's Shadow-Lined Cape are both a step above Stalker's Crimson Loop depending on build.

Wristbands Of Vexira's Prey - This Legendary makes your Queen's Fang and Arachnid Assault crits apply a DoT debuff to targets, dealing 28% of the initial damage over 6 seconds. This deals significant damage and greatly increases our resource generation through the Venomous Delight talent.

Assassin's Shadow-Lined Cape - This legendary increases the tick rate of our Hemorrhaging Strike DoT by 15% and gives each tick a 15% chance to spawn a shadowy close that uses a 6 combo point Queen's Fang on the target.

Stalker's Crimson Loop - This legendary gives us a 24% increased expertise buff for 8 seconds upon getting a spirit proc. Not far behind Wristbands Of Vexira's Prey for spirit finisher builds.

Weapons

Mara has a couple of good options when it comes to weapons in Early Access Season 3. The Best Weapon for Mara early on is Sahril's Reckoning, with Fateful Dagger becoming better once we have at least 40% spirit and at least 3/4 of the The Philosopher blessing.

Gear Sets

Set bonuses have the capacity to be very powerful. Different dungeons drop different sets allowing us to target farm our best in slot bonuses. In Early Access Season 3, sets now slot into items as one of the up to 3 Modifiers on the item, which means that sets are more powerful and therefore desirable than before. I've outlined the most powerful sets for Mara's different builds below.

Seal Of The Heskyr: this new set prvoides a 25% increase to gem power, which let's us hit more and better gem power breakpoints.

Death's Grasp: This set gives us a 10% damage multiplier against enemies below 30% health along with a flat 4% increase to spirit. Very good overall and especially against bosses and enemies that become more dangerous when they're low on health.

Draconic Might: This set gives us a chance on critical hits to get a buff for an 18% increase to Agility for 14 seconds, it has a ppm of 0.9 that scales with crit chance, meaning with more sheet crit we have the more procs we will get per minute.

Drakheim's Absolution: This set gives a 20% increase to Agility during the duration of Spirit of Heroism which activates for 20 sec alongside our Matriarch Macabre, allowing us to deal even more damage during it.

Dark Prophecy: This set gives our abilities a chance to give us 25% haste for 20 sec on a 0.8ppm basis.

Relics

The relics in Fellowship are almost entirely utility focused and they are therefore very situational, although there are some that are generally more useful than others. In Early Access Season 3, Relics also roll Modifiers.

Universally Useful Relics:

Sinbinding Stone - Grants 15% damage reduction to yourself and nearby allies for 15 seconds on a 3 minute cooldown. This Relic is extremely powerful, particularly on some of the harder bosses and pulls in the game.

Generally Useful Relics:

Grimoire Of Resurrection - A simple combat ress. It has a small cast time with a 5 minute cooldown. Great if your party lacks the ability to ress.

Ancient Wardstone - Instantly dispel all harmful magic effects from yourself and allies on a 2 minute cooldown. This can be extremely good in some dungeons depending on how you’re pulling.

Ancient Poultry Fetish - Turns your target into a chicken. Permanently. This cannot be used on Bosses but there are pulls in dungeons where utilizing this Relic makes life so much easier. It has shared uses by the party on a 3 minute cooldown, so its value lessens with multiple users in the same party, alongside the fact there are generally better relics on offer.

Orb Of Shadows - Party wide invisibility for 15 seconds on a 6 minute cooldown. Very good relic that let's your party skip large portions of a dungeon, carries a bit of risk until you light a campfire, as it has a large cooldown.

Humming Portalstone - Opens an interactable portal. You can only have 1 of these active at any time and there is a 20 second cooldown on how often you can take the portal. It has a 2 minute cooldown. This relic let's you skip difficult packs in different dungeons and let's you route more aggressively, which is very useful situationally.

Saltwash Elixir - Restores 40% of maximum health on a 2 minute cooldown. Good if nothing else seems appealing, or you don't trust your healer.
