Ruins of Lordaeron Location

For Horde, they'll have an easy time getting here as it's located in the Forsaken capital, the Undercity in Tirisfal Glades. Orcs and Trolls will need to take the zeppelin from Orgrimmar to Tirisfal Glades, and Tauren and Skyborne will have an extra step of making their way to the zeppelins from Mulgore.

Alliance players will have a much longer trek to this dungeon, as they’ll have to travel from Southshore in Hillsbrad Foothills all the way to Tirisfal. All Alliance players can make their way to Southshore by taking boat travel. Humans Dwarves and Gnomes will start at Stormwind Harbor and take the boat to Auberdine, and then take the Auberdine boat to Menethil Harbor, and then stay on that boat as it’ll go to Southshore next. Alliance Skyborne can take the portal from Stormwind to Dalaran for a much faster shortcut.

Ruins of Lordaeron Important Trash

There is a variety of trash located in the Ruins of Lordaeron ranging from spider mobs, skeletal mobs, ghosts, ghouls, and abominations.

Kings Alley Spiders

The intro mobs in Kings Alley are not too serious and are spider mobs. They include Broodwidows, Venom Lurkers, Spiders, and Tarantulas. Individually, these mobs are easy to take down. However, they are in groups, and there are fast-patrolling packs that could make for some dangerous pulls. When you pull a pack, pull them back to avoid overpulling.

Skeletal Soldiers, Mages and Shrieking Banshees

Skeletal Soldiers and Mages guard The Baron. They come in packs of three and can deal some mildly concerning physical damage to your tank. Shrieking Banshees will patrol Kings Alley past Witherfang.

Skeletal Soldiers WoW Forever

Flesh Golem

The Flesh Golem is a hard-hitting mob with a knockback ability. They patrol in Lordamere Overlook, so be careful getting knocked into other trash packs.

Living Monstrosity

Living Monstrosity, like the Flesh Golem, is a hard hitting mob that you'll want to take down asap. Avoid pulling these mobs with any other trash as well.

Ghouls and Ragged Ghouls

These Ghouls and Ragged Ghouls deal intense damage and come in packs of 3-4. Not only that, the packs are close to each other, and you can pull multiple packs if not careful. Take down the Ragged Ghoul first and then the Ghouls after.

Ruins of Lordaeron Bosses

There are 6 bosses in the Ruins of Lordaeron: Witherfang, The Baron, Viktor the Vile, The Abandoned, Bjork, and Rath’mael.

Witherfang

Witherfang is the first boss most players will encounter in the Ruins of Lordaeron. Witherfang patrols up and down Kings Alley, and his only real ability is his Leech Poison he’ll cast on the tank.

Clear out mobs in his patrol pathway and pull the boss when you have a clear spot. Witherfang is accompanied by two adds, but we’d recommend taking the boss out first and then the adds.

The Baron

The Baron is typically the second boss players will encounter in the Ruins of Lordaeron.

The Baron has hard melee swings but has a very powerful Knockout that will take out nearly half of the tank's health! It also applies a stun after so its crucial to make sure the tank is close to full HP as much as possible throughout.

Like most lower level dungeon bosses, The Baron can be stunned, so use them if you have them.

Viktor the Vile

Viktor the Vile is an easy boss that players can skip. Viktor only appears after players trigger an event by clicking on the chimney located in the house to the southwest of Lordamere Overlook.

This event will trigger 5 waves of adds until the boss comes out on wave 6. The challenge here is that players do not have much time at all between each wave to replenish mana and health, so make sure you are being conservative with your mana.

When Viktor spawns, make sure the tank gets threat as he hits hard. Outside of that, he has the same Leech Poison that Witherfang has.

The Abandoned

The Abandoned is another wave fight before the boss comes out.

Players will enter Market Square from Lordamere Overlook. The statue in Market Square will quake, starting the event. After 3 waves of adds, The Abandoned comes out on wave 4.

He has Frost Nova, applies a Chilled effect to melee players who hit him, and will cast Life Drain on the tank. Players can stun him at the start of his cast to prevent him from casting it.

The Abandoned WoW Forever

Bjork

Bjork patrols the center area of the Ruins of Lordaeron and only has one ability: a very short Anti-Magic Shield that lasts only 3 seconds. Outside of that, just be careful of pulling him by any of the trash nearby, as the ghouls are pretty deadly.

Rath'mael

Rath'mael is the final boss of the Ruins of Lordaeron. Although the final boss, he isn’t particularly challenging. He only has a Flamestrike ability that players simply just need to move out of. You can also stun him, preventing him from casting any. Defeat him and you’ve now defeated all 6 bosses of the Ruins of Lordaeron.
