Talents
As Meiko, a lot of our durability comes from Stone Shield and self healing with combo spenders. As a result, we want as high uptime on Stone Shield as possible, as well as picking talents that enable us to use finishers as often as possible.
Legendaries: Typically for most players, acquiring your Legendary will happen once you have roughly 12 Talent points available. With this in mind, the build progression for all builds tends to remain the same until that point. If you happen to acquire a Legendary sooner with less points available, make sure you swap build earlier, using the information under each build to be as informed as possible.
I have listed out five Talent Builds below and this is how I would suggest thinking about them:
- General Build (Beginner): If you are learning Meiko and still getting to grips with her playstyle, start here.
- General Build (Advanced): A good build when you are more comfortable with the rotation & buff maintenance.
- Wrists Legendary Build: The second best Legendary. Providing a mix of DR and damage.
- Ring Legendary Build: Great for farm content or trying to maximise DPS.
- Cloak Legendary Build: The current best end-game build for tankiness and surviability
General Build (Beginner)
This is a pretty standard build for progressing as Meiko, revolving around the idea you are fairly new to Meiko and learning through leagues.

This build allows you the comfort of Will Of Stone early on while you're learning about buff maintenance and progressing through the star map, before transitioning away briefly to give you time to learn properly. It also avoids Warden Of The Temple until later to allow you to get more comfortable with that same buff maintenance and Meiko in general before adding additional complexity.
If you have access to the Darkfrost Talon set-up, then you're able to take the 2 points in Debilitating Vortex and move them into either Harsh Winds or Rumbling Stone+Conclusive Strikes.
General Build (Advanced)
This is an advanced general build revolving around the idea of having no Legendary and the user being very comfortable playing Meiko.

Early on build progression focuses heavily on Stone Shield and Bulwark uptime, transitioning into Warden Of The Temple quite early, and a few points later into Forbidden Technique as well, before rounding off the tree towards the end with the defensive talents we've been bouncing between throughout the journey. This build focuses on getting the most out of Forbidden Technique by Earthfist Barraging all target counts after applying a Double Palm Strike debuff to an enemy.
If you have access to the Darkfrost Talon set-up, then you're able to take the 2 points in Debilitating Vortex and move them into Rumbling Stone + Conclusive Strikes.
Wrists Legendary Build
This is one Meiko's most durable builds, focusing on consuming large amounts of Serenity to obtain a large amount of damage reduction from the Legendary.

This build revolves heavily around Warden Of The Temple and Serenity usage to maximise the effectiveness of your Bracers Of Everlasting Spirit.
The idea is to simply stack and spend Serenity every 8 seconds, through both Warden Of The Temple and Whipping Apex. This provides a large amount of damage and damage reduction.
You can drop Harmonic Residual or Harsh Winds for more damaging options like Rumbling Stone and Conclusive Strikes.
If you have access to the Darkfrost Talon set-up, then you're able to take the 2 points in Debilitating Vortex and move them into either Earthwell or damaging options.
Ring Legendary Build
This build revolves around the Legendary Ring Of Tectonic Impact and focuses on dealing as much damage as possible through Earthfist Barrage.

This build revolves around using Earthfist Barrage on all target counts for maximum damage and healing in conjuction with the Ring Of Tectonic Impact. You'll have a lot of damage reduction due to Forbidden Technique assuming you're playing correctly, and you'll naturally do a tonne of healing from AoE barraging as well.
If you have access to the Darkfrost Talon weapon set-up, then you're able to take the 2 points from Debilitating Vortex and move them into Harsh Winds or Harmonic Residual + Conclusive Strikes.
Cloak Legendary Build
This build revolves around the Legendary Drape Of The Earthen Spirits where the primary goal is as much Twin Souls: Bulwark uptime as possible as well as the 80% armour buff once it expires.

This build is extremely durable and has the highest Twin Souls: Bulwark uptime of the builds available due to synergies with Earthbourne. It makes an already powerful defensive/utility cooldown have higher uptime, meaning we retain the 80% armour buff after it's expiration for the majority of the downtime to the next Bulwark cast.
The build is a lot of fun, and you barely have to tank much because the statue does it for you!
As always, if you have access to a Darkfrost Talon weapon set-up, then you're able to take the 2 points in Debilitating Vortex out and move them into Conclusive Strikes + another point of your choosing. But the recommended weapon for Cloak build is Fists Of Fate for higher uptime on statue.
