Seasonal Rank 14
In a recent interview with Kotaku.com, Assistant Lead Classic Designer Tim Jones explains what the new PvP system will be in World of Warcraft: Forever. It appears that the PvP system will combine the seasonal PvP we've had since The Burning Crusade with the Rank 14 System from the original World of Warcraft, meaning every new season/content patch, players will have to start back from Rank 1 and be able to go all the way to Rank 14, with unique "rewards, cosmetic rewards, as well as PvP armor that has stats on it that people will be able to obtain.

New Battleground: Darkspear Islands
WoW Forever launches with a brand new battleground: The Darkspear Islands, a battleground modeled after The Burning Crusade's Eye of the Storm, where players will have to capture points across the Isle and bring the flag to a faction-controlled area to obtain points for their team. Josh Greenfield (Aggrend) mentioned in BlizzCon's Deep Dive that a "crater" may return in Azshara, more than likely hinting at the scrapped Battleground: Azshara Crater.

Players should expect more Battlegrounds to come over the course of the game. It will be a strange adjustment for players to truly understand that WoW Forever is a "forever" game, and not just another temporary game mode!
