In WoW Forever, Mages have access to a class-specific tradeskill called Comprehension. With the Comprehension skill you have a unique way of gaining buffs ranging from minor stat buffs to powerful weapons, adding some extra power while you level, and likely coming in handy even at max level!

What Is Comprehension In WoW Forever?
At level 6, Mages can learn Comprehend Scroll from the class trainer. Unlocking this will give an active ability named Comprehend Scroll in the General tab of your spellbook, while simultaneously unlocking the passive Comprehension tradeskill, visible in the skills section of your character page as shown below.
As you decipher scrolls with Comprehend Scroll, your Comprehension skill will grow, provided you're deciphering scrolls at an adequately high level for your current skill. Over time, as your Comprehension advances, you will become able to decipher more advanced scrolls.
The breakpoints at which you can decipher new scrolls are skill levels 1, 15, 50, and 175, unlocking new tiers of scroll with new potential drops each time. Keep in mind that the deciphered scrolls themselves have a required level to use at level 5, 16, 25, and 46 respectively.
Where to Get Scrolls: World Drops & Bundles of Scrolls
Undeciphered Scrolls from World Drops
For the most part, undeciphered scrolls are simple random world drops. Throughout your journey in WoW Forever, you will receive many scrolls that you can decipher while looting your enemies. There is no specific farm for these, you will simply obtain them while you're questing and doing dungeons, giving a steady, passive supply.
Deciphered Scrolls from Bundles of Scrolls
Upon turning in your first book in Forever's new Library system (adapted from Season of Discovery, for those familiar), you will unlock the Research ability in the General tab of your spellbook. When casting Research, you will learn Study, another new ability for Comprehension.
Once per hour, you can bring 1 Light Feather to your faction's Library (located in Stormwind for Alliance or Undercity for Horde), and cast the Study ability.
Study will provide you with a Bundle of Scrolls, which upon opening gives a random assortment of already deciphered scrolls. This means that you cannot use Study to train your Comprehension, but it can be used to get a large number of consumable buffs.
