The Pouch of Violet Dust is a limited-time item, dropping with the release of WoW Forever. This Toy item will change the colour of your Campfire to give it a nice purple flame, but more importantly it also doubles the duration of your Campfire buffs!
The item will be removed in December after the WoW Forever launch period. We presume ahead of the release of the raids.

What Does the Pouch of Violet Dust Do?
Use the Pouch of Violet Dust on a campfire and every camp benefit from that campsite will double in duration, so your buffs last 2 hours instead of 1. Pretty handy!
The good news is that it's also shared with anyone else at the camp. All the buffs and every person sitting by the fire get the bonus effect.
Not Your Campsite? No Problem: You can also use the Pouch of Violet Dust on another player's campsite.
Unfortunately, it appears this it does not work with the Camp Tent by doubling its rested XP buff.
How to Get the Pouch of Violet Dust in WoW Forever
In order to obtain the Pouch of Violet Dust, follow these simple steps.
- Link Twitch and Battle.net. Head to your Battle.net accounts page and hit Connect on Twitch. Link the two together, but note there is a 7-day cooldown on this so don't do it wrong.
- Watch 4 hours of WoW on Twitch; any channel in the World of Warcraft category with Drops enabled counts.
- Claim the drop. Do it on the channel you're watching or in your Drops Inventory on Twitch.
- Log into the right region, as the toy goes to whichever Battle.net region you log into first, so make sure it's the one your characters are on. It can take up to 24 hours to show up.

Is the Pouch of Violet Dust Worth Getting?
It's super easy to obtain, just stick a stream on while you're working or cooking or even playing WoW Forever, so yeah why not?
The item is limited for now, so use it while you can. Use it when you've got a few people at camp before a dungeon run or a long questing session, since that's where the extra hour pays off most. Pair it with our WoW Forever levelling guides to make some great progress.
