Gear
Our T29 2pc and 4pc set bonuses are fairly boring but strong. There is no need to pay attention to them to maximize the benefit.
Our T30 2pc and 4pc set bonuses effectively turn our Sundering into a big burst damage window akin to Colossus Smash or Essence Break. However, as of patch 10.1.5 it is no longer worth using the buffed Chain Lightnings in single target.
Patch 10.2 Tier Set (Amirdrassil)
- 2pcs: Primordial Wave summons a Lightning Feral Spirit that increases your Nature damage dealt by 20% for 15 sec.
- 4pcs: Summoning a Feral Spirit reduces the cooldown of Primordial Wave by 7.0 sec.
Our T31 2pc and 4pc set bonuses focus on improving Primordial Wave, providing us with more frequent burst damage and Maelstrom Weapon generation. Effectively Primordial Wave will be a 24 second cooldown instead of the usual 45 seconds. You always want to make sure Primordial Wave is on cooldown when using Feral Spirit to get the cooldown reduction.
Best items to upgrade
Look for any items with Haste and Mastery to upgrade with your Crests.
Embellishments
For your embellishments, you want to run Adaptive Dracothyst Armguard and any armor piece with Shadowflame-Tempered Armor Patch.
Alternatively, once you have a full set of sockets on your gear you can swap out the Armor Patch for Elemental Lariat.
Trinkets
Pip's Emerald Friendship Badge and Cataclysmic Signet Brand are the best trinkets from the raid.
Solid choices from Mythic+ are Porcelain Crab, Accelerating Sandglass and My’das Talisman.
