Hebeth isn't the longest mission in Doom: The Dark Ages, but it's absolutely packed with hidden collectibles and secret areas. From extra Gold and Codex entries to weapon skins and Life Sigils, there's a lot to track down if you want that 100% completion. Some are hidden behind breakable walls, while others require a bit of platforming and exploration.
In this level, the secrets start getting trickier to find, and that's where we come in. If you're aiming to collect everything Hebeth has to offer, this guide will walk you through each and every secret.
All Secrets in Hebeth in Doom: The Dark Ages
There are a total of 9 secret areas that players can discover while playing through the mission. Here's how to find each of them:
Secret #1 – Life Sigil
The first secret area is right after you break through the first Superheated Door to enter the facility. Once inside, immediately turn left for a breakable wall. Clear the enemies, then break through to access the first secret area and collect a Life Sigil.
Secret #2 – Imp Stalker Toy
In the next room, after dealing with another wave of Hell's forces, head up the stairs to the second level. Instead of progressing forward, turn around to spot two crates near the back wall. Jump on top and go into the hidden vent to access the second secret area, which contains the Imp Stalker Toy.
Bonus – Codex
This one doesn't count as a secret area, but it's still worth picking up. After clearing the next room and before breaking the next Superheated Door, turn around and look for a stack of crates behind you. Jump over to reach a Codex entry tucked away in a small side area.
Secret #3 – Gold
After passing the first point of no return, you'll eventually unlock the Sentinel Shrine, where you can upgrade your weapons. Exit the shrine and turn right down the corridor. You'll see a statue nearby. Run toward it and look for a climbable wall. Climb up and follow the path to reach the third secret area and grab some Gold.
Secret #4 – Gold
Once you acquire the Blue Keycard and unlock the matching door, continue down the corridor. Near the end, look to your left for a breakable wall. Smash through it to enter the fourth secret area and collect more Gold.
Secret #5 – Gold, Life Sigil
Keep progressing until you unlock the Accelerator, and clear out the enemies that spawn afterward. Near the helmet hologram, turn left to spot another breakable wall. Inside, you'll find a Life Sigil, some extra Gold, and your fifth secret area.
Secret #6 – Gold, Life Sigil
After the next point of no return, you'll reach the exterior of the facility, where two Titans are battling. You'll notice a room blocked by flames. The valve to shut off the fire is located in the room across from it, but you can't access it directly.
Take the right-hand path, and on your left, you'll spot a climbable wall. Scale it and break the Superheated Metal blockade to enter the valve room. Turn off the flames to unlock the secret room and collect a Life Sigil and more Gold. Watch out for the enemy that spawns when you enter.
Secret #7 – Gold
Keep moving forward past the last secret. In the next room, take out the demon mobs. On the left side of the room, you'll find a smaller chamber that serves as the seventh secret area containing even more Gold.
Secret #8 – Gold Chest
When you reach the second Sentinel Shrine, head through the hole in the wall to the right. At the end of this short path, you'll find a Gold Chest and find the eighth secret.
Secret #9 – Gold, Shredder Skin
From the second Sentinel Shrine, climb the nearby wall, but instead of heading through the main door, walk to the far end of the walkway. You'll find a stack of boxes you can jump on. Use them to reach another climbable wall. Follow the path to the ninth and final secret area of the chapter, where you'll find the Nightmare Skin for the Shredder along with some bonus Gold.
