Impaler
A heavy-hitting, precision-shot weapon that thrives on well-placed headshots. Despite its appearance, it’s most effective at close to mid-range, where its synergy with charged melee attacks shines. Less raw power than the Super Shotgun, but with better range and precision. Ideal for quickdraw kills — perfect for shutting down jump scares with a single well-placed shot.

Found in the latter half of Chapter 4: Sentinel Barracks.
Upgrades
TIER 1: Stalwart: Picking up shield-related items drops additional Impaler ammo.
TIER 2: Salvage: Picking up Impaler ammo buffs your next shot with bonus damage
TIER 2: Chronospike: Holding down the fire button slows time, giving you space to line up deadly shots
TIER 3: Lobotomy: Headshots restore a portion of your melee charge, speeding up your next finisher
