Combat Shotgun
The Doom Slayer’s default weapon. It's reliable, brutal, and built for efficiency. The Combat Shotgun excels at close to medium range, delivering steady damage and keeping the pressure on. Its upgrades focus on igniting demons, which drop armor upon being burned, helping the Slayer stay in fighting shape. It may be standard-issue, but it's anything but boring.

TIER 1: Incendiary: Damaging demons enough will ignite them. Burning demons drop armor shards.
TIER 2: Smelt : Increases armor drop from burning demons
TIER 2: Blast: Burning demons explode on death, damaging others nearby
TIER 3: Tune Up: Enables quick burst-fire mode for rapid shots
TIER 3: Flare Up: Instantly ignites targets with the first shot
TIER 4: Eat This: Increases the number of projectiles per shot, boosting damage without using extra ammo.
