Accelerator
A rapid-fire plasma weapon designed for overwhelming single-target damage. With moderate spread and intense heat buildup, the Accelerator shines in close to mid-range combat, but becomes woefully inaccurate beyond that. It’s especially effective at bypassing energy shields and melting demons after their armor is broken. Less ideal for crowd control, but deadly when focused. The longer you fire the Accelerator, the deadlier it gets.

Upgrades
TIER 1: Feedback: Continuous fire builds charge. At max charge, damage increases significantly
TIER 2: Stabilizer : Reduces spread when fully charged, making the Accelerator more precise
TIER 2: Modulator: Increases rate of fire, allowing quicker charge buildup and faster sustained damage
TIER 3: Heatblast: Releases an explosive blast using all accumulated charge, dealing AoE damage and dropping ammo
TIER 3: Megacell: Extends the duration of max charge for longer high-damage output
TIER 4: Overload: Max charge enters an overcharged state, further increasing damage output
