Method Welcomes Legendary SC2 and WC3 Player DeMusliM

We have a huge new addition to the Method family to announce today, as legendary StarCraft 2 and Warcraft 3 player DeMusliM comes aboard! This veteran player, streamer and caster started his career at 15 years old and has been moving up ever since then, from Warcraft 3 to StarCraft 2, adding more and more high profile tournaments under his belt - including BlizzCon, Dreamhack, the ESL Pro Series, MLG events, the NASL, IPL and more.

The "Devil Terran", as he's known in the SC2 community, will not only be streaming for Method, but will also help us create a new series of Warcraft 3: Reforged tournaments for the Method 24/7 channel! We'll be sharing more info on that a little later, but we're all very excited to have this gaming powerhouse join us and help us grow and expand into RTS waters.

But let's hear it from the man himself, Benjamin James "DeMusliM" Baker:

I'm really happy to be joining a solid organization and hopefully continue spreading my passion of esports and RTS. Talking with Sco about joining seemed one of the most natural things in the world, and honestly, I'm just stoked to see what the future holds.

We're all very excited about this new addition, and none more so than Method co-founder and co-CEO, Scott "Sco" McMillain:

Before I started playing WoW and created Method back in 2005, I used to play a ton of Warcraft 3. It was here, 16 to 17 years ago, that I first came to know about DeMusliM as one of the best WC3 players in the UK. I remember DeMusliM hanging out in the battle.net chatroom regularly and I also remember challenging him to a 1v1 custom game on the map Plunder Isle (he won). To be able to welcome DeMusliM into the Method family now, a player I respect and look up to from my younger days, makes me very happy.

I am excited to finally get Method involved in the Warcraft 3 space. Working with DeMusliM I look forward to Method hosting monthly tournaments (stay tuned for an announcement there) and adding further value to the existing community that surrounds a game I remain very passionate about.

We're very happy to add more and more amazing talent to the family, and DeMusliM will help us expand the Method brand even further, reaching more people and adding to the Method community. For more news on this new partnership and Method in general, be sure to follow our socials!
