Shield Rune: Holy Swarm
The Shield Saw can be further upgraded with the help of Runes found in the later chapters of the game. These Runes enhance your shield by giving different kinds of damage bonuses to your parries.

Upgrades
TIER 1: Outbreak: Increases the number of daggers summoned and slightly boosts their damage. Helps the rune feel more impactful against clusters of demons.
TIER 2: Upsurge: Further increases the dagger count and damage output. At this stage, it becomes more effective at softening up groups of fodder or finishing off weakened targets.
TIER 3: Plague: Maxes out both the number of daggers and their damage potential. Turns the rune into a strong background damage tool with wide coverage.

Holy Swarm Rune
Summons a group of ethereal daggers that seek out nearby demons after a successful Hell Surge parry. The daggers spread out automatically, dealing moderate damage to multiple targets. You don’t need to aim them, but they may not always prioritize the biggest threat. Still, it’s a reliable way to deal passive damage and keep pressure on groups.
