The world of Control Resonant is filled with paranormal items. These are known as Altered Items, objects that start acting in supernatural ways. You might encounter one of these objects in the form of a camera that freezes Dylan when it spots him and then disappears. Finding one of these cameras will automatically unlock the quest Freeze Frame, a quest that will have you capturing all the cameras (two per zone) around the city.
These cameras appear on the map only when you discover them, and you must use traversal and find alternate paths to capture them since they disappear if you stand in front of them. You will also find some images around the city that will give you clues about the locations of these cameras. But in this guide, we'll show you the exact location of each one.

Downtown
East Side Camera
One of the first cameras you can find in the game is in the first zone of Downtown, close to the Testing Facility Reade. The camera is inside a closed structure, and to open it you need to carry the electricity from the closed Power Core Station to the north, in the Deserted Area. Having the Reach ability will make this one easier since on the rooftops you'll find some of the electrical boxes that preserve electricity.
West Side Camera
On the other side of Downtown, you will find another camera close to the West Supply Room Station. To reach this camera, you will need the Shift ability to reach the rooftop, then use a power ability to open the hatch, or use melee attacks to destroy a wooden wall on the side.
Center
Watchtower Camera
Another of the first cameras you will find is the one in the Watchtower since it's close to one of the main objectives in the story. From Zoe's office, head downstairs. In the room below, you will find the camera. There is a hole in the roof before the corridor where the camera is that will take you to the back of it, where you can capture it.
West Side Central Camera
The next Central camera can be found to the west, on a rooftop close to the Central Supply Route Station. For this one, let it freeze you. After it disappears, head inside the building and open the door below. Go out of the building; this will reset the camera, and enter again through the door you just opened. Beware, however, that there will be some enemies waiting for you this time.
West Incursion Zone
Checkpoint Camera
You will find the first camera on the West Incursion close to the Zone's Checkpoint. This one is on one of the window washer gondolas. To reach it, jump from the closest rooftop into one of the altered platforms that disappear and appear again in another place. These will take you close to the gondola where the camera is.
Parking Garage Camera
The next camera in the zone is close to the Parking Garage. This one is by the corner of a building, but to reach it you must use the Reach ability to climb another roof from where you can drop behind the camera and capture it.
Evacuation Zone
Sinkhole Camera
In the Sinkhole at the Evacuation Zone, you will find another camera. This camera is in a small room on a rooftop. For this one, use the power station at the end of the street to the north, and bring back electricity to open the door. You'll find electricity cubes on the same road.
Railyard Street Apartment Camera
Close to the Railyard Street Station, you will find an apartment building. On the rooftop of that building, you will find a camera. Do the same trick as before: open the door below and enter it again to capture. We recommend that you explore this building fully for an Easter Egg surprise.
The Park
Sewer Entrance Camera
From the FBC Base in The Park, take the electricity from there into the one on the lift platform in the closest Sewer Entrance. From the top of the lift, jump into the gondolas to the side to find another camera.
Nomad Station Camera
This camera is inside the Nomad Station. Simply let the camera freeze, and then continue along the path of the station, which will take you directly to the other side of the camera. Expect enemies in this one.
Underpass
Underpass Entrance Camera
The first camera in the Underpass is close to the zone's entrance. Use the Reach ability to get to the platform the camera is on. You will have to clear the platform of enemies to destroy the Hiss barrier. Go through the Hiss barrier opening to drop behind the camera.
Tubes Platform Camera
Go to the back of the platform that is surrounded by big tubes. From there, you will find an office room. Pass the office room and jump into the close hole that will drop you into the room where the camera is located.
Unknown
Laundromat Camera
In the Factory Island, you will find a Wear'em & Wash'em laundromat in the center of the area, and inside a camera. To the trick of letting it freeze you one last time. Enter the building and open a door on the back side. Go out, and back inside again through this new opening to capture the camera.
Construction Site Camera
The other camera in this zone is in the construction site to the north. It is located on the lowest floor, but in there, you will be ambushed by enemies. Clear the enemies to capture the camera, which is overlooking a mold hole.
Freeze Frame Ending
After capturing all cameras, the quest will direct you behind the Oldest House in Downtown. There, some FBC employees have been frozen by the cameras. You will now have to capture each one in that base area.
This time they are all together, and when you capture one, they will relocate to another very close area. Beware that letting them freeze you will reset the pattern. Use high vantage points to see where they have been transported and get close from their blind side. Capture each one until none remain and complete the quest, which will reward you with the Untapped Shiny Pebble artifact.
