In Control Resonant, there are several different puzzles and collectibles scattered throughout the city for you to discover in each zone. One such example is a mysterious dog who seems to appear in every zone you visit, barking and whining whenever you get within close proximity.
This mysterious dog can be helped by retrieving her toy and bringing it back to her. If you're able to do this for every instance of the mysterious dog throughout the map, then you'll unlock an achievement and earn yourself a new best friend. Here's every mysterious dog location and where to find the dog toys in Control Resonant.

All Mysterious Dog & Dog Toy Locations in Control Resonant
In Control Resonant, there are seven different instances of the mysterious dog that you can find and interact with throughout the map.
These seven dogs can be found in West Incursion Zone, Downtown, Central, The Park, Evacuation Zone, the Underpass, and the Unknown.
To 'complete' an interaction with the mysterious dog, you need to locate her missing dog toy, pick it up, and return it to her spot on the dog bed.
The toy will never be too far away, but to save you some time, we've pinpointed the exact locations for you to find the dog toy in every mysterious dog appearance.
West Incursion Zone Dog Location
The dog in West Incursion Zone can be found on one of the rooftops across from the Parking Garage building.

Where to Find the Dog Toy in West Incursion Zone
The dog toy is super close, too. Simply drop back down onto the street and look for the building with the "Chowrap" pet food billboard on the side of the building.
The dog toy will be sitting right underneath this sign.
Downtown Dog Location
The Downtown mysterious dog can be found tucked away sitting on the corner of one of the taller rooftops.
Where to Find the Doy Toy in Downtown
The dog toy is sitting on the rooftop directly across from the dog, meaning you just need to take a short little jump to reach it.

Central Dog Location
- Note: In the screenshot above, this dog interaction had already been completed during my playthrough. If you reach this spot yourself, you should find the dog waiting for you!
The Central mysterious dog can be found on one of the rooftops very close to the East Park Station.

Where to Find the Dog Toy in Central
The Central dog toy location is found in the area below the rooftop, around one of the alleys. Be sure to prepare for a fight, as there will likely be enemies crawling around.
The Park Zone Dog Location
The dog in the Park will be on a rooftop near the Sewer Entrance area. She will be sitting by one of the lights, making her very easy to spot.
There's also a huge wall of mold down on the street near the building, so you can use this to recognize the spot.

Where to Find the Dog Toy in The Park
The Park dog toy location is once again on the opposing rooftop from the dog. However, this one is a different height, so you may not be able to reach it by jumping and gliding across.
There is a small trick, though: you can climb up the nearby mold wall enough to give yourself a boost to reach the rooftop.
Now just grab the toy and fly it back across to the dog.
Evacuation Zone Dog Location
Sorting out the mysterious dog in the Evacuation Zone is a matter of shifting gravity around, as the dog and the toy are in (almost) the same location.
Where to Find the Dog Toy in Evacuation Zone
This time, the dog toy can be found on the slab of terrain above you. You can float up and use your shift ability to swap gravity over to this plane, pick up the toy, and then swap back so you can deliver it safely to the dog.

Underpass Dog Location
In the Underpass area, the mysterious dog can be found sitting in the middle of the red carpet at the approximate map location below.
You will need to use your gravity shift ability to rotate the terrain as you climb until you are able to find her. Keep your eyes open, as there is a lot of red in this area and she can be easily missed, as she is on a section between two others.
Where to Find the Dog Toy in the Underpass
Climb up the surrounding terrain, heading up and using your shift when needed. Eventually, you should be able to find the dog toy sitting on a desk.
You can now grab the toy and then jump down the gaps in the floor to get back to where the dog is sitting.
The Unknown Dog Location
Last but certainly not least, the final appearance of the mysterious dog can be found in the Unknown, which you will first need to unlock and reach as part of the initial quests towards taking down the Hedron.
This dog can be found on one of the rooftops in this strange, warped city. You may need to use Shift to reach it, but as long as you follow the general direction of the map location below, you should have no problems finding the dog.

Here you will be able to find her sitting up by a purple wall covered in graffiti.
Where to Find the Dog Toy in the Unknown
When it comes to finding the dog toy this time around, it is probably the furthest distance from the mysterious dog of them all.
Use your shift to climb up the structure in the screenshot below, turning gravity as needed and taking out the enemies along the way.
Eventually, you will come to the top platform. As you exit onto this, to your left you will find a crate that you can open for some goodies. On the right, the dog toy will be tucked away.
Grab it, then use your traversal abilities to return the toy to the dog. And in case you can't seem to find it, here's the exact location for this one too:
Congratulations - you've finally completed all seven mysterious dog interactions in Control Resonant!
How to Unlock the Dog's Best Friend Achievement
Lastly, there is just one final step you need to do in order to get the Dog's Best Friend achievement (and therefore the recognition for taking the time to help all of this poor doggo remain reunited with her toy!).
After completing all seven mysterious dog interactions, simply head to the Gap by holding the corresponding button - this is down on the D-pad if you're playing on controller.
Now you'll find that she's made a nice little home for herself here, giving Dylan a loyal new friend. The achievement will automatically trigger the first time you interact with the dog here in the Gap.
Interestingly enough, if you also manage to complete this achievement before finishing the main story, then you will get an ending that has been altered to include the dog. C'mon, you can't tell me all of those little paw-shaped pit stops weren't worth the time they took now, can you?
