Raid Setup

Introduction
Welcome to our Mythic Fractillus Boss Guide, for the Manaforge Omega Raid. Learn about the Mythic specific fight mechanics and the strategy we recommend to defeat this boss on Mythic difficulty!
This guide focuses on a Mythic strategy for Fractillus, and won’t explain the basics of the fight, so make sure you read through the Heroic version of the guide for this boss if you are unfamiliar with the encounter.
Fight Style: Single Target Fight
Recommended Setup: 2x Tank / 4x Healer / 14x DPS
Required Utilities: None
Hero/Lust Usage: On Pull
Easy Mode
- Everyone has circles during spreads, pre-assign static positions.
- Small circles hurt more, avoid them; overlap big ones only with defensives.
- Watch for Shattering Backhand wall breaks, press raid-wide defensives at marked timers.
- Follow your WeakAura, spread properly and use defensives.
Mechanics
Brittle Nexus
Brittle Nexus is a Mythic only wall that deals damage to the entire raid when broken and applies a heavy shadow DoT to the entire raid for 8 seconds.
Shockwave Slam
Shockwave Slam deals massive physical damage to the current tank and forces you to taunt swap. Additionally, it spawns 3 walls on the Tank's location, compared to 1 on Heroic difficulty.
Strategy
Unfortunately, one of the most hyped bosses of the tier ended up being a huge let down, mostly thanks to the massive nerfs just after release. The good news is that this fight is extremely straightforward, and with the right WeakAura you’re basically done before you even pull.
For the WeakAura, we recommend using the Northern Sky package: https://wago.io/NSManaforge
Follow the instructions there and simply follow the WeakAura assignments! Whatever marks you are being told to go to, do it! If everyone does that, the boss will die.
The main mechanic to worry about is the spread. On Mythic, every single player gets a circle during the spread check, so the only way to consistently handle it is to pre-assign static positions for the whole raid. Think of it like a dance floor where everyone has their own square, and you just go there every time. This avoids overlaps and makes the mechanic very simple once set up.
One thing to keep in mind is that the smaller circles actually hurt more than the big ones; if you have the option to move, avoid standing inside a small circle at all costs. If you do end up overlapping with someone who has a large circle, use a defensive to survive, it won’t kill you, but it will hit you hard.
The second layer of difficulty is just being ready for the more challenging moments of the fight. These are the Shattering Backhand, which on Mythic are wall-breaking nukes that hit everyone at once. If you don’t plan ahead for them, you’ll get caught off guard.
Here’s a simple MRT note you can copy straight into your timers so no one forgets when to press defensives:
{time:1:21}1:21{spell:1220394}|cffB65552Shattering Backhand|r - {everyone}everyone {text} Defensives{/text}
{time:3:23}3:23{spell:1220394}|cffB65552Shattering Backhand|r - {everyone}everyone {text} Defensives{/text}
{time:4:04}4:04{spell:1220394}|cffB65552Shattering Backhand|r - {everyone}everyone {text} Defensives{/text}
{time:4:45}4:45{spell:1220394}|cffB65552Shattering Backhand|r - {everyone}everyone {text} Defensives {/text}
And that’s really the whole encounter. Follow your WeakAura, stick to your spread positions, and pop defensives on the timers mentioned above. If you do that, Fractillus falls over without much resistance.
