Method Welcomes Hotted as Chief Business Development Officer

Method is pleased to announce that Alan "Hotted" Widmann has joined our organization as Chief Business Development Officer.

Hotted might already be familiar to some of you from his many collaborations with members of Method, most recently as an analyst for the Method NA Major. He entered the esports scene playing semi-professional Counter-Strike Source during his high school years in Venezuela. After three years he moved on to University studies where he pursued an Electronics Engineering degree. During this time, Alan began to take World of Warcraft more seriously and played with the best Latin American raiding guild in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, achieving many region first kills. Later on he transitioned into PvP and obtained 6x rank 1 titles on several characters. His achievements and unique persona even earned him the honor of having a WoW NPC named after him.

In more recent years, Alan has expanded his activity to more games, most notably Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Player Unknown's Battlegrounds. His popularity in these games and on social media has earned him invitations as a featured guest at many of the biggest video game conventions around the World. In his portfolio of partnerships are brands like Old Spice, Asus, Intel, HyperX, Razer, Unibet and other companies closely tied to the video games industry.

Alan will be a major asset to Method as we continue to expand our organization in the ever growing industry that is esports and gaming.

Very excited to have Alan officially join the Method management team as our CBDO. He has been a great friend for years and in that time we worked on many different projects. Most people know Alan for his uplifting personality that can be seen on his Twitch channel and other socials. But beyond that he is also a talented businessman who understands the esports industry as only very few people do. Welcome aboard my friend!

- Method co-owner Sascha "Rak" Steffens

To be deeply involved in esports is something that I have been wanting to do ever since I competed for the first time as a player. Method is an established organization with a long history and an incredible amount of potential. Both Sascha and Scott are like second family to me and I'm very happy to have the opportunity to help them grow in the future!
