Method is looking for experienced and enthusiastic gaming Content Authors as it expands its content coverage across its flagship gaming website: Method.gg. Method.gg is the home of world class educational content focused on the MMO, RPG & Survival gaming genres, serving titles like World of Warcraft, Dune: Awakening, Fellowship and Windrose.

About the Role

• Part-time contractor position.
• Remote role with flexible hours.

As a Method.gg Content Author, you will be responsible for concepting, planning and drafting high-quality gaming content covering some of the biggest titles in the MMO, RPG & Survival genres, with your content reaching a huge audience.

Responsibilities

• Pitch, plan, and write publish-ready gaming content for Method.gg.
• Maintain a deep first-hand knowledge of the title you are writing content about.
• Follow Method's style, tone & SEO guidelines to ensure consistent quality.
• Continuously update and revise content as required to maintain reliability.
• Maintain integrity, use first-hand knowledge to produce cutting-edge content.

Requirements

• Active player of the title(s) you wish to write about.
• Able to adapt to drafting content for new titles regularly.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Comfort with CMS publishing, basic formatting & image handling.
• Ability to self-edit and ship accurate, polished drafts.
• Working knowledge of SEO best practise.
