Mother Fang Mission Guide

This guide focuses on the Heroic Mother Fang encounter in Elwynn Forest; the normal version is part of the tutorial.

Minis in Mother Fang’s army

• Dark Iron Miner - Dark Iron Armaments
• Darkspear Troll - Serpent Sting
• Harpies - Trinket Collectors
• Huntress - Shadowmeld
• Pyromancer - Conflagrate
• Skeleton Party - 5-Man

Other minis and map mechanics

When gold is mined from the Gold Mines in the Mother Fang map, the Gold Mine spawns a Spiderling for whoever mined the gold.

Mother Fang:

• 7500 health
• Acid Missile: 75 Elemental damage, 9 range, 2.2 seconds attack speed, leaves an Acid Puddle
• Acid Puddle: Applies 1 stack of poison and then 40 Elemental damage every 0.5 seconds for 2.5 seconds to minis staying in the puddle

General strategy

Control of the high ground is the key: you can easily shoot all minis in the valley from the above.

After you have control of the high ground, send your own miners to get the gold and the Spiderlings to your side.
