Goldtooth Mission Guide

This guide focuses on the Heroic Goldtooth encounter in Elwynn Forest; the normal version is part of the tutorial.

Minis in Goldtooth’s army

• Angry Chickens - Furious Fowl
• Blizzard - Cold Snap

Other minis and map mechanics

Goldtooth spawns Kobolds at regular intervals. In Heroic, they are Swole Kobolds that gain +10 levels every time they mine gold. After mining a few times, they will be nigh unbeatable. The first one is summoned at 3:25 and then another one every 30 seconds.

Goldtooth:

• 5250 health
• Throws dynamite sticks that explode for 495 Elemental damage after 1.5 seconds (330 in normal and quests)

General strategy

You must prevent the Swole Kobolds from mining. Spells or Unbound minis can be used for this task. I like Worgen, in particular, but also minis like S.A.F.E. Pilot and Blizzard can be used. It is not a disaster if the Kobold mines once, maybe even twice, but the more it mines, the harder it becomes to stop.
