Both 10 and 25 man now have 20 guilds that have finished off the final boss and are ready to go when the next two heroic instances come, 3 weeks from now. UPDATE - Oct 22 04:20 by Starym
Well, it's been quite a day with Will of the Emperor going down many times in both races, and the 25 man one getting its Top 20! The final two spots went to why so serious and Immersion, with Ascendance just missing out on a Top 20 spot.

Meanwhile, the 10 man field is getting crowded at 6/6, with three more guilds joining in the all clear. Moonz, Лимбо and kinetigger grabbed the 15th, 16th and 17th spots, respectively, and now we're only 3 guilds away from completing the Top 20 and our coverage of this first instance of Tier 14.

A lot of action today, with the 10 man guilds mopping up. We have a whopping four new entries on the all clear list, with Sluga typer och en Naga, Эзериал, Fierce and devil may cry nabbing World the No. 11 through 14 spots. Fierce also claimed the US 2nd on their kill.

UPDATE - Oct 21 15:21 by Starym
We have two more entries on the all clear list in 25 man, with only two remaining to round out the top 20. Accidentally claim the World 17th EU 11th and Accession the 18th and US 5th!

6 other guilds are currently only one boss away from finishing the instance in the top 20 and with only two spots left the race is getting even more serious for them.

UPDATE - Oct 20 16:15 by Starym

And the killshot:

Envy World Second 25 man Will of the Emperor kill

UPDATE - Oct 13 06:20 by Starym
Very little movement in the last few hours, but we do have some new entries in the 10 man "who-can-get-spiritkings-down-ever" group, with Sluga typer och en Naga, devil may cry and BIZZNO having downed Gara'jal. US guild Avast is currently in the best position to take down Spirit kings World Second, but it's probably going to take a little while longer.

UPDATE - Oct 13 02:58 by Starym
Poor, poor Elegon, he's dying faster than those shiny lights of his can blink. This time it's Экзорсус (Exorsus) with the World 8th, EU 6th 25 man kill, leaving only Exodus on 4/6 ahead of the many 3/6 guilds.

UPDATE - Oct 13 02:35 by Starym
It's turning out to be a huge day today, as if the final boss World First wasn't enough, but we have another 25 man Elegon kill! THis time it's Apex and they secured themselves a World 7th, EU 5th kill and joined in the race for second place.

UPDATE - Oct 13 01:07 by Starym

Aaand the killshot:

Method's World First 25 man Will of the Emperor Kill

UPDATE - Oct 13 00:52 by Starym
And we have a winner! Method has claimed the final World First in this raid, downing Will of the Emperor 25 man!
An amazing accomplishment, and worth the giant amount of effort put in by the players who can finally take some deserved rest. And so Method is the current No.1 world guild, at least for a few more weeks when the next instances are released, but for now we have a reigning king!

In perhaps smaller news, but nonetheless impressive and important, Wraith have claimed the World 6th, EU 4th 25 man Elegon kill, so let's spread some of the excitement over Method's kill over to them as well!

UPDATE - Oct 13 00:28 by Starym
And we have a US third, World ninth on 25 man Spirit Kings! Exodus are catching up and only have Elegon left before they join the leading group of guilds.

UPDATE - Oct 12 22:37 by Starym
Why me has just downed 25 man Elegon World 5th, EU 3rd and joined the frontrunners in the race for Will of the Emperor.

UPDATE - Oct 12 22:05 by Starym
Not much going on at the moment, but Moonz and Freak Me Out have also downed Gara'jal in 10 man, bring the grand total of 3/6 guilds to 8.

UPDATE - Oct 12 20:27 by Starym
Экзорсус (Exorsus) join in on the 4/6 fun, getting 25 man Spirit Kings down World 8th, EU 6th, so the field is expanding fairly rapidly at the moment.

UPDATE - Oct 12 19:57 by Starym
Fixed the 10 man rankings on Gara'jal. Depraved got the World 5th, EU third, solid line in spe the EU 4th and Die Hordlinge the EU 5th.

More progress! Apex have downed 25 man Spirit Kings World 7th, EU 5th.

UPDATE - Oct 12 18:49 by Starym
Envy take Elegon 25 man down World 4th, EU 2nd and are now in contention for the final World First in the instance.

UPDATE - Oct 12 18:42 by Starym
The secret is out, Gara'jal is beatable in 10 man and other guilds are catching on! Two more kills by EU guilds solid line in spe and Depraved, getting the World 5th and 6th (EU 3rd and 4th).

UPDATE - Oct 12 18:21 by Starym
It's Wraith's turn to shine, they hopped into the 25 man 4/6 club by downing the Spirit Kings and taking the  World 6th, EU 4th kill.

UPDATE - Oct 12 17:52 by Starym
While we wait for more kills, here's vodka's World 3rdm US 2nd 25 man Elegon kill:

Vodka's 25 man World 3rd Elegon Kill

UPDATE - Oct 12 16:55 by Starym
Well, good morning, or something like it. It seems there's been some breakthroughs while I was sleeping with 10 man guilds busting that Gara'jal barrier. Now we get to see if it really was that particular boss that was the roadblock or if Paragon really are THAT much better than the rest of the 10 man field. In any case, big congratulations to Avast, Интервенция and Crimson Blade for rounding out the top 4 on Gara'jal 10, regardless of Paragon's glinding over all it took a lot of effort and dedication to down him.

On the 25 man side only Why Me had any movement, joining the World top 5 and only 1 boss away from playing for WF Will of the Emperor, in direct competition with vodka. They're really proving themselves to be one of the World's very top guilds in this progress, so welcome to the club!

UPDATE - Oct 12 15:35 by Karsten
The Germans are back in business: Why Me takes 25m World 5th on Spirit Kings and stays ahead of the curve!

UPDATE - Oct 12 14:55 by Karsten
The kills keep coming in: Crimson Blade takes another Gara'jal kill for the US in 10 man! World 4th, US 2nd!

UPDATE - Oct 12 12:21 by Karsten
The dam has broken: A few hours after Avast the Russian guild Интервенция claims the World 3rd and EU 2nd of Gara'jal in 10m!

UPDATE - Oct 12 09:34 by Karsten
Avast me mateys! Ok, jokes aside - Avast managed to break the curse of Gara'jal that has been haunting 10m guilds for days now and goes 3/6 for their World 2nd/US 1st! Will it motivate other guilds to kill him too or will Gara'jal prove to be the dead end for many 10m groups?

UPDATE - Oct 12 08:15 by Starym
And here comes the teaser...train...or something. Blood Legion hit up the last minute of their World First 25 man Elegon Kill for our enjoyment, so let's enjoy.

UPDATE - Oct 12 06:55 by Starym
And we have a three way race. Vodka managed to get Elegon down World third US second and is now in the running for that coveted WF on the final boss if the instance, Will of the Emperor. Will the time spent on the boss so far be too much of an advantage for Blood Legion and Method or can vodka keep going and perhaps score a little upset here?

Pie Chart also managed to join the elite, with 3/6 down and is the 18th guild to kill Gara'jal in 25 man.

UPDATE - Oct 12 02:30 by Starym
Midwinter nabs the US 5th spot on Gara'jal, increasing the number of guilds on 3/6 to 13

UPDATE - Oct 12 02:30 by Starym
So, let's catch up on what's been going on in the past hours. We have Absolutely zero movement on the 10 man front, it seems Paragon took all the movement that existed with them when they finished the instance (P.S. We will have an interview with their guildmaster up either during the night or tomorrow so check for that).

Meanwhile the stitation in 25 man is still the same, with Blood Legion and Method duking it out over the final boss WF, Blood Legion having the slight advantage having downed him some hours before their European conterparts. Vodka and Envy are neck and neck in the 4/6 spot, fighting to break into the final WF contention. Our Asian overlords, Kin Raiders are currently in the ranks of the 11 guilds stuck at Spirit Kings aka 3/6, but they got there mighty fast as the instance only opened up for them today. The most recent additions to that list along with Kin, are Midwinter, ScrubBusters, genuine, For the Horde, why so serious, Apex and Exorsus.

Also, completely off-topic, Anathema in concert ae awesome. That is all.

UPDATE - Oct 12 01:04 by Karsten
Envy stepping up for the European scene and following Method on The Spirit Kings. 25m EU 2nd to them!

UPDATE - Oct 11 21:02 by Shinso
The Korean guild KinRaiders got 3/6 in 25 man on the very first day of Korean progress. They are now rank 1 in their region. Congratulations! Maybe they make it to the top of the world rankings.

UPDATE - Oct 11 18:45 by Shinso
And we have a World Second 25 man Elegon kill here! Method managed it to kill him after BloodLegion. Also they are now on Rank 1 in EU rankings. GZ!

Method 25 man Elegon World Second

UPDATE - Oct 11 18:09 by Karsten
OVER! IT'S OVER! PARAGON GOT THE KILL! Okay almost. Got me a bit excited there. Anyways, 10 man is clear with no other guild even coming close to what the crazy Finns did. Let's hope 25m will hurry up and get them some WF love as well

UPDATE - Oct 11 17:13 by Karsten
By now a few more guilds have passed Gara'jal, namely Экзорсус, Apex and why so serious. It's getting crowded on Spirit Kings, looks like it's the boss to beat in this raid (apart from Will of the Emperor, of course).

UPDATE - Oct 11 16:17 by Karsten
Method is rebroadcasting their raiding up to Spirit Kings right now! so check it out here!

UPDATE - Oct 11 15:04 by Karsten
Blood Legion released a video of them killing Gara'jal:

After questioning myself if WoWProgress broke or something, things are moving forward in the EU! Method claims the EU First Spirit Kings in 25m and will now proceed to Elegon. The day is young over here, a fast Elegon kill would give them the opportunity to end the race today!

UPDATE - Oct 11 10:09 by Karsten
And here we go: The boss everyone assumed to be the roadblock in this raid falls swiftly to Blood Legion! 25m World First Elegon goes to them!

UPDATE - Oct 11 09:33 by Karsten
Accession powering through the night, claiming 25 man US 4th for themselves! While the EU guilds already surpassed him on their first day of playing, Gara'jal still seems to be an issue for the American raiders.

UPDATE - Oct 11 08:52 by Karsten
Vodka goes in for the 25 man World 2nd on Spirit Kings! The question now - will they take a look at Elegon or call it a day?

UPDATE - Oct 11 07:24 by Karsten
Apparently the Asian guilds have started playing now, so let's see if they can upset the rankings once more!

UPDATE - Oct 11 04:50 by Starym
Calm before the storm seems to be the usual around here as Blood Legion have just downed the Spirit Kings 25 man World First and taken a big lead in the race! Whether someone can catch up to them soon will be crucial to the final leg of the race, with only Elegon and Will of the Emperor left in this first part of Tier 14.

UPDATE - Oct 11 04:15 by Starym
Well, things have settled down since the crazyness of Paragon's little crusade and the onslaught of Gara'jal kills, but now we have a large field in the 25 man race all on the same boss. For the longest time Blood Legion, vodka and Method were the only ones likely to go 4/6 but enough time has passed now that the other 5 guilds have a serious shot at that Spirit Kings 25 man World First. Meanwhile on the 10 man side it seems only Paragon have been progressing, but that might be about to change.

Tomorrow (or today, to be exact) the Asian guilds (minus China) will be coming into the fray, and even though they'll be 1/2 days behind the rest, if the difficulty of bosses in persists throughout the instance they're going to be catching up in time. Particularly interesting will be the 10 man race, as that's usually considered the favored discipline among Asian guilds and they won't be taking kindly to Paragon's busting in on their turf. But it may well be too late by then as only Will of the Emperor remains ahead of the Finnish group.

UPDATE - Oct 11 02:03 by Starym
And the killshot:

Paragon 10 man Elegon World First

UPDATE - Oct 11 01:53 by Starym
Well, Paragon can't be stopped indeed. They've racked up another 10 man World First, this time downing Elegon to get a pretty comfortable 3 boss lead over their closest competitor, quite incredible. Only 1 boss away from completing the instance, let's hope the final boss is a bit more of a challenge.

Exodus also joined the 25 man Gara'jal club and secured the US 3rd, World 8th spot

UPDATE - Oct 11 00:32 by Starym
And the Gara'jal bashing continues, with yet another guild laughing as they down him. This time it's Pulse in 25 man, claiming the EU 5th spot and rounding out the standings on that particula boss.

UPDATE - Oct 11 00:04 by Starym
It's just not Gara'jal's evening, with another kill coming in from the EU. Wraith just downed him in 25 man, claiming the EU 4th kill.

UPDATE - Oct 10 23:37 by Starym
It's kill o'clock it seems, with Envy joining the 25 man 3/6 group by downing Gara'jal World 5h and EU 3rd

UPDATE - Oct 10 23:06 by Starym
10 man is in the house, DREAM Paragon just downed the Spirit Kings World First! Congratulations to them and amazing work!

UPDATE - Oct 10 22:56 by Starym
We have a treat waiting for us tomorrow, with Method rebroadcasting their raids so far up until either Gara'jal or even Spirit Kings if they manage to get them down by then. The whole thing is happening on their streams tomorrow at 16:00 CET, from guildmaster Sco's Prot Warrio PoV rand here's the link:

UPDATE - Oct 10 22:17 by Starym
We have a 25 man World 4th, EU second with Why Me, having defeated Gara'jal!

UPDATE - Oct 10 22:14 by Starym
It's summary time! With the race settling in to a long haul, with the bosses being actually hard even before the last two, it's looking like a really bright first part of T14 progress. Gara'jal is still proving to be a huge obstacle for most guilds, even after the (unavoidable) nerf with still only 3 guilds having downed it in 25 man and only 1 in 10 man. Spirit Kings seem to continue that trend, but it's a little to early to say whether they'll be a serious challenge.

On the statistics side of matters, we have:

25 man:    4 guilds on 3/6    - 2 US, 2 EU
               17 guilds on 2/6   - 6 US, 11 EU
               55 guilds on 1/6   - 24 US, 31 EU

10 man:    1 guild on 3/6     - 0 US, 1 EU
               14 guilds on 2/6   -  5 US, 9 EU
               45 guilds on 1/6   -  7 US, 38 EU

UPDATE - Oct 10 20:56 by Starym
And so the 10 man Feng the Accursed top 5 is rounded out with Нафиг с пляжу я тут ляжу nabbing the No. 5 spot.

UPDATE - Oct 10 19:15 by Starym
Интервенция and Starcoma join the 10 man Feng club, grabbing the No.3 and 4 EU spots and are on 2/6.

UPDATE - Oct 10 18:40 by Starym
Vodka have decided to talk about their 25 man World First Gara'jal kill, the hotfix that followed it and the rumors surrounding it. In case you didn't catch the previous story, click here to read up on it. Here's vodka's Gm, Grafarion, on the matter:

Officialy vodka did use the spellsteal buff to kill the boss. At current gear levels the boss was unkillable prior to the HP nerf. We were running a stacked raid group for dps and the minimum number of healers possible, and were consistently getting the boss sub 4% over the course of hours. We noticed the trash mobs buff on a re-clear and decided to try it. While this is obviously not an intended way to kill the boss, we reported it and confirmed with the developers regarding this method. After our kill, based on our feedback they made timely changes to the encounter and hotfixed the buff.

UPDATE - Oct 10 18:10 by Starym
Liquicity just got the 10 man EU second on Feng, catching up to Paragon who are still at 3/6.

UPDATE - Oct 10 17:31 by Starym
Method cooked up a preview of their Gara'jal video, with the final 26 seconds of the kill:

UPDATE - Oct 10 16:31 by Starym

Method's World Third, EU First Gara'jal 25 Kill

And we have a World third and EU first on Gara'jal 25 man! Method just downed him and caught up with the US guilds really fast, so now it's a proper 3-way race to the next World First. Things are going to heat up real fast now as the other EU guilds will push that much harder and the US now know their lead has evaporated.

And so the Spirit Kings are the next big milestone, and it might take a while to get there, but now all the top guilds are in the mix and pumped, so we can at the very least expect a solid new number of Gara'jal kills very soon.

UPDATE - Oct 10 16:20 by Starym
Well, good "morning", I guess. Except it's maybe not so good. There was a hotfix on Gara'jal lowering his HP by around 4-5%, which initially sounded like a nerf because guilds were stuck at him, but was in fact only part of the hotfix. The HP lowering came as a compensation to the fact that they removed a spellstealable 200% haste buff from certain trash mobs before the boss.

Now, Blood Legion's kill came after this hotfix, so they couldn't have used it, but we don't really know if other guilds used the buff before and probably won't know for sure until after progress is done, but the fact that it's out there and required a hotfix certainly does make things... fairly suggestive as to what happened.

UPDATE - Oct 10 14:01 by Karsten
The pack stays close together: Pulse also defeated Feng and proceeds to Gara'jal. EU Top 5 for Feng is complete.

UPDATE - Oct 10 13:54 by Karsten
Paragon has nothing lost with their reduced roster - they just killed Gara'jal and might very well be the very first guild in the world to kill the Spirit Kings. Is there any guild out there who can stop them in 10 man mode? World First 10 man 3/6.

UPDATE - Oct 10 13:38 by Karsten
EU 3rd goes to the Germans from Why Me. Same goes for the guys of genuine! They also close the gap to the US guilds and are now competing on Gara'jal.

UPDATE - Oct 10 13:04 by Karsten
EU 2nd on Feng goes to Method. Big things are expected of Method after Paragon downsized their raid, let's see if they can deliver!

UPDATE - Oct 10 12:30 by Shinso
Envy managed to get the 25 Man EU First for Feng the Accursed, which makes them Rank 1 EU.

UPDATE - Oct 10 12:03 by Karsten
In the 25 man race why so serious entered a bit late, but still in time to compete for Feng. In 10 man however, Paragon performs with the speed we know and love - taking out Feng before any other 10 man guild downs Stone Guards. In the meanwhile Blood Legion calls it a day and gets some rest to continue in a few hours.

Blood Legion's World Second Gara'jal 25 kill

UPDATE - Oct 10 11:20 by Karsten
Europe is not here to play nicely, almost all favorites have entered the race by now. Method takes fifth, Why Me sixth place. Let's see how long they need to catch up!

UPDATE - Oct 10 11:08 by Karsten
Blood Legion closes the gap and secures World Second on Gara'jal. Vodka has been trying on the Kings for some while now, will they be able to keep up their lead?

UPDATE - Oct 10 11:01 by Karsten
Kills start rolling in pretty fast, For the Horde as well as genuine join the race with their first kill.

UPDATE - Oct 10 10:54 by Karsten
Europe is wide awake and starts clearing, Pulse and Envy take EU First and Second in 25 man, Paragon follows suit in 10 man.

UPDATE - Oct 10 10:07 by Karsten
Looks like progression has come to a slow. No wonder though, considering it's getting pretty late in the US. So far on this first day of progress we have 42x Stone Guard, 11x Feng and 1x Gara'jal killed. To be honest, this looks way better than every other progress since Sunwell. Bosses seem to have a steep curve in difficulty and don't fall like flies. Granted, the first boss seemed to be a bit of a pushover for the better guilds. However, out of the entire US progress scene only 42 managed to get past him on their first raid night.

UPDATE - Oct 10 07:58 by Karsten
The latest updates are in: Accession lost World #5 Feng by a minute to Midwinter. Duality was faster than both all along.

UPDATE - Oct 10 06:40 by Starym
While vodka was off World firsting the other guilds weren't resting, with both Accession, Dualíty and Midwinter having downed Feng 25 man and taken ranks 4, 5, and 6 respectively.

The 10 man Stone Guard top 10 has also materialized, with Swarm, Stimulate, Clarity and Requiem taking the final 4 spots.

Vodka's World First Gara'jal 25 Kill

UPDATE - Oct 10 06:10 by Starym
Vodka got Gara'jal the Spiritbinder down World First in 25 man, putting them in the lead.

UPDATE - Oct 10 05:30 by Starym
Swims in lava have caught up to the leading two in 10 man, downing Feng and nabbing the World third and thus completing the top 3 on that particular boss.

UPDATE - Oct 10 05:10 by Starym
And there we go, the latest 10/25 mix-up is resolved as we predicted, with Pie Chart joining the ranks of the 25 man guilds, at number 10, bumping Whatever Were Awesome and Reckoning to places 11 and 12. Joining them on the 25 chart are Uprising, Simple Math, Defenestrate and Incarnate, all on 1/6.

The other news is that Gag Reflex is indeed a 10 man guild and has thus earned the top 5 spot on Stone Guard! Joining them at No. 6 are Smitus and Friends.

Fierce also managed to grab the World Second on Feng the Accursed 10 man!

UPDATE - Oct 10 04:20 by Starym
Crimson Blade just got the World First 10 man kill on Feng the accursed, so big congratulations to them!

Also, Whatever Were Awesome got Un-Schrödingered (that's a word now) and are now properly listed as a 25 man guild, meaning they took the 10th spot on the Stone Guard ahead of Reckoning. Of the other two iffy 10/25 guilds, Pie Chart could be a 25 man guild while Gag Reflex is probably 10 man as listed, but we'll have to wait a bit more to find out.

UPDATE - Oct 10 03:47 by Starym
A few new contenders approach, but it's a bit early yet and so we can't really be sure if Wowprogress' 10 man marking is correct or not, but in any case Pie Chart, Whatever Were Awesome and Gag Reflex are either 5th, 6th and 7th on Stone Guard in 10 man or 10th, 11th and 12th in 25 man. it's a bit of a Schrödinger's cat situation here, the two guilds exist in both a 10 and 25 man state at the same time, and so quantum mechanics something something. Look, give me a break it's late, OK?!?!

Also, Reckoning has closed out the 25 man top 10 with their Stone guard kill.

UPDATE - Oct 10 03:11 by Starym
Midwinter hops into the fray in the 25 man race, with Stone Guard down, at Number 9 and apparently Dualíty is 25 man as well so no 5th place in the 10 man race yet, but Dualíty are at number 8 25 man!

UPDATE - Oct 10 02:57 by Starym
Dualíty has completed the 10 man Stone Guard top 5 and claimed the World 5th kill. - Nope, they're 25 man and got the 8th kill.

UPDATE - Oct 9 01:47 by Starym
We have more 25 man contenders! Tyranny just got the World 7th kill on Stone Guard and joined the race.

UPDATE - Oct 10 01:15 by Starym
It seems Wowprogress has had their hourly update! Avast have gotten the World third 10 man Stone guard, and Swims in Lava got the No.4 spot behind them, a minute after them in fact - doesn't get much closer than that.

We also have a new entry on the 25 man charts, with Suit Up going 1/6, to claim the No.6 spot for now.

UPDATE - Oct 10 00:59 by Starym
Ok, so, phew, it seems the storm has quieted down and we do, in fact, have facts! Wowprogress has updated their standings and theirs and ours are accurate now. But the silver lining is that Gara'jal the Spiritbinder isn't a pushover and is taking a while to kill. Perhaps it will be a real boss and actually take more than a day to kill? We can only hope.

The other big thing that seems strange is how few guilds are even in the race at the moment, with only 7 guilds in both categories having downed Stone Guard. Now, this could be due to the fact that the boss isn't that easy, but considering how fast vodka and Blood Legion downed it, that seems unlikely. We'll see how many guilds will be active tomorrow when the EU gets in on the race.

UPDATE - Oct 10 00:28 by Starym
Just got an update for Accession (from Twitter, but considering the circumstances it seems more legitimate than Wowprogress' mess), so we're removing them from the 10 man ranking as they're only running 1 raiding team in 25 man. This means Fierce actually got the 10 man World First on Stone guard and Crimson Blade the World second, so a belated congratulations to them!

UPDATE - Oct 10 00:17 by Starym
Exodus downed Feng the Accursed and went 2/6 to join in the top 3 on 25 man.
TM have joined the 25 man group, taking the World 5th Stone Guard kill.

UPDATE - Oct 10 00:10 by Starym
Ok, so we got into contact with Exodus (through our friend Ladan) and they say they've only been raiding 25 man, so we'll edit that out. It seems doubtful that Accession also has two raiding teams but we don't have any info on that one so it stays for now.

UPDATE - Oct 10 00:05 by Starym
Here we go with another Stone Guard kill, this time in 10 man by Crimson Blade. We've also edited the standings below to match Wowprogress, even though some of the rankings sound a little weird, for example Exodus getting both the World First 10 man Stone guard and the World third 25 man. In any case it's all updated and fixed now.

UPDATE - Oct 9 22:52 by Starym
We have another player! Fierce has downed Stone Guard apparently in 10 man, but you never know these days with Wowprogress switching around every few minuted (for example now Accession is listed as 10 man). In any case welcome to the either World second or third 10 man Stone Guard killers.

UPDATE - Oct 9 22:52 by Starym
Accession got the World third kill on Stone Guard in 25 man and joined Blood Legion and vodka in the top 3.

UPDATE - Oct 9 22:37 by Starym
Well, it seems Exodus are just all over the place at the moment, with Wowprogress now listing their kill as a 10 man, so congratulations to them on the  World First on Stone guard 10 man. Considering out little Armory misadventure from before, we'll just stick with Wowprogress' rankings.

UPDATE - Oct 9 21:59 by Starym
Ok, so now Exodus actually did get a Heroic kill, their first of the day, downing Stone Guard and going 1/6. Now the old top 3 truly is back and with the extra gear Exodus farmed in LFR they might be catching up really soon.

Wowprogress has also updated the kill times on the three guilds so it's time to start the rankings.

UPDATE - Oct 9 21:59 by Starym
It seems apologies are in order, as Exodus are actually doing LFR at the moment and we completely misread their armory page. This means 2/6 is still the best any guild has gotten. Again, we're really sorry for the misunderstanding and it definitely won't happen again. So, apart from the whole us sucking thing, it's good news that the third boss of the instance is actually quite hard and is taking some effort from the guilds.

UPDATE - Oct 9 21:50 by Starym
So, the Exodus Gara'jal kill seems a little murky, we got the information from their guildmaster's armory page and just assumed it was on heroic mode (you can't really see whether it's Normal on heroic on there) so either Exodus really nailed the strategy and execution on the boss or there's some sort of Armory bug/they did it on Normal mode for some reason. In any case we're trying to find out what the situation is and we apologize if the information we posted is incorrect.

UPDATE - Oct 9 21:18 by Starym
We have a leader! Exodus have downed the third boss, Gara'jal the Spiritbinder and taken the lead with 3/6 bosses down, making it to the half way mark.

UPDATE - Oct 9 20:59 by Starym
Exodus have also come up to 2/6, downing Stone Guard and Feng, so the old top 3 is back in action, but in which order they are at the moment remains to be seen. Armory is updating right now so it shouldn't be too long until Wowprogress sorts it all out (they've already added Blood legion's kills), and we'll be digging around Armory a little to see which other guilds are in the running at the moment.

UPDATE - Oct 9 20:39 by Starym
While we wait for either proper rankings or a Gara'jal kill, here's vodka's Stone Guard killshot:

Vodka's World First Stone Guard 25 Kill

UPDATE - Oct 9 20:17 by Starym
Vodka has also downed Feng, and are 2/6. Now let's hope Gara'jal proves to be more of a challenge.

UPDATE - Oct 9 20:05 by Starym
So here's the situation at the moment: while guilds are tearing through Mogu'shan Vaults and getting kills, we can't really announce who got what first, as Wowprogress hasn't updated in around an hour, and it in turn is dependent on Armory, which has updated the loot from the bosses, but not the kills themselves. Sure, it's most likely Blood Legion or vodka got the first kills (or just BL on Feng), but we can't be sure until we get to see the timestamps and see if any other guild is maybe downing everything left and right. The information we have at the moment is directly from the guilds, who don't really even know if they got the World Firsts themselves.

UPDATE - Oct 9 19:48 by Starym
2/6 it is! Blood Legion have downed Feng the Accursed, possibly first and are progressing VERY fast through the instance. Again, we'll post the official rankings as soon as Wowprogress updates.

UPDATE - Oct 9 19:22 by Starym
Here we go, Heroics are up and we already have a World First. Now who that World First goes to is still up for debate, Blood Legion have downed Stone Guard as well as vodka and we can't really tell who's first at the moment or if some other guilds beat them to it. With Wowprogress and Armory being slow, we can't really say 100% whether they're the first ones, but so far they're the only ones have have information from so we'll update when we have more information.

UPDATE - Oct 9 18:45 by Starym
It seems possible/probable that Heroics will come up when they enable LFR, in around 15 minutes (10 AM PDT, 7 PM CET), so let's hope this was just a matter of them deciding to turn Heroics on at the same time as LFR and change the way it's been for years for no reason (and with no warning).

UPDATE - Oct 9 18:23 by Starym
Sooo, yea, Blizzard and their "commitment" to raiding strikes again. It seems someone over there forgot to turn heroic modes (and LFR) on, as instance servers have come up, but only Normal modes are available at this time. Let's see how long it takes them to fix this, and if they even notice any time soon.

UPDATE - Oct 9 17:10 by Starym
We're even closer now, with US servers having come up, but instance servers still playing coy and remaining closed.

UPDATE - Oct 9 16:20 by Starym
So here we are, hours or perhaps minutes away from the start of the Tier 14 Heroic progress race, with US servers coming online soon. The main contenders this tier are mostly going to be the same in the US, with Blood Legion, Exodus and vodka all just waiting for the go sign. The rest of the field will be a bit fuzzy, as there have been notable guilds breaking up (Premonition, Enigma) so we'll just have to wait and see who will be joining the US and perhaps World First contention. While we wait, you can check out the double reset and loot advantages post or look up how the guilds did in Normal mode with our rankings, to see what potential new candidates for the race might come up.

It's finally here, Heroic TIer 14 progress has started, with the first raid opening up and the top guilds charging in under a day from now. The US will have a first crack at the bosses as usual, which probably means the first couple of World Firsts or more will go to them, depending on the instance difficulty.

So check back here tomorrow afternoon when the action will start, we have no real way of knowing when exactly the servers will go up, the earliest could be around 10 AM CST (5 PM CET) but more likely to be around noon CST (7 PM CET) or later.
