In this guide we are going to take you through what you need to do in order to complete the Tour Townlong Steppes achievement in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria. Tour Townlong Steppes is a meta achievement that requires the completion of three other achievements: Explore Townlong Steppes, Elusive Foes: Townlong Steppes and Hidden Treasures: Townlong Steppes.
The achievement involves fully exploring, killing rares and collecting hidden treasures in Townlong Steppes; our guide provides the Townlong Steppes Rare and Treasure locations to help you complete this achievement quicker.
There is a similar achievement for each of the Pandaria zones:
- Tour The Jade Forest
- Tour the Valley of the Four Winds
- Tour of Kun-Lai Summit
- Tour Townlong Steppes
- Tour Krasarang Wilds
- Tour Dread Wastes
By completing this achievement and one of the following three: Campaign: Townlong Steppes, Shado-Pan or Looking for Group: Townlong Steppes; you will be rewarded with the Muskpaw Calf Battle pet.
Explore Townlong Steppes
The Explore Townlong Steppes Achievement simply requires you to fly around the zone and uncover every area of the map, the locations can be tracked on the achievement. It’s likely that you will have already discovered some of these locations whilst leveling or looking for rares and treasures, so you will just need to find the ones you are missing. With Dragon Riding being available from the very beginning, it's very easy to explore the whole map.
One thing to note is that you will only need to explore the most southern area of the islands to the west.
Elusive Foes: Townlong Steppes Rares Locations
This achievement will require you to find and defeat three of the eight rares located around Townlong Steppes. All of the rares are fairly easy to solo.
We have included a map and coordinates to help you locate all the rares in Townlong Steppes.
- The Yowler is a Hozen located in the east of Townlong Steppes, inside a cave at the base of a big tree.
- Lith’ik the Stalker is a Mantid located in the south west of Townlong Steppes. He has several spawn points around the Sik’vess area.
- Kah’tir is a Mogu located in the north part of Townlong Steppes, just outside Fire Camp Osul.
- Siltriss the Sharpener is a Saurok located in the south of Townlong Steppes, in the chasm between Townlong Steppes and Dread Wastes.
- Eshelon is a Jinyu located in the south of Townlong Steppes, in the chasm between Townlong Steppes and Dread Wastes.
- Norlaxx is a Mogu located in central Townlong Steppes, on the south side of the Underbough.
- Yul Wildpaw is a Pandaren located on the western islands of Townlong Steppes, just outside Niuzao Temple near the cave marker on the map.
- Lon the Bull is located in the Northern part of Townlong Steppes. He is a Yaungol that has several spawn points around the Fire Camp Osul.

Completing this achievement will also reward a Lesser Bronze Cache.
Hidden Treasures: Townlong Steppes Treasure Locations
This will require you to find two of the four lost treasures throughout Townlong Steppes. Some treasures will not appear until you have completed a certain quest, so if you can’t see it, continue with the campaign and then come back.
We have included a map and coordinates to help you locate the treasures.
Fragment of Dread: The coordinate provided for this Treasure is the entrance of the cave where the treasure is located, the treasure has several spawn points so make sure to look around.
Hardened Sap of Kri’vess: has several spawn points around Kri’vess, so keep an eye on the ground.

Completing this achievement will also reward a Lesser Bronze Cache.
