How to get the Ny'alothan Shadow Worm Mount
The Ny’alothan Shadow Worm is a new Meta Achievement mount, to obtain this mount you will need to complete the most difficult versions of both the Horrific Visions of Stormwind and Orgrimmar, with all 8 masks active.
Step 1 - Unlock the The Hourglass of Horrific Visions
You will need to fully unlock the Hourglass of Horrific Visions, this can take a while but will be needed to handle the 8 mask run.
Step 2 - Unlocking all 8 Faceless Masks
To obtain this mount you will first need to unlock all 8 masks from visions. Below we have detailed how to obtain each of the masks.
Faceless Mask of the Long Night
The Faceless Mask of the Long Night is unlocked by completing all five zones within a single Horrific Vision.
Faceless Mask of The Burned Bridge
With at least one mask active, complete the Valley of Wisdom Area in the Horrific Vision of Orgrimmar.
Faceless Mask of the Daredevil
With at least one mask active, complete the Valley of Honor in area in the Horrific Vision of Orgrimmar.
Faceless Mask of the Pained
With at least one mask active, complete the Old Town Area in the Horrific Vision of Stormwind.
Faceless Mask of Dark Imagination
With at least one mask active, complete the Mage Quarter Area in the Horrific Vision of Stormwind.
Faceless Mask of Vengeance
With at least one mask active loot the Mask of Vengeance, this is located in the canal area between Trade district and Old Town. It is surrounded by a group of Vengeful Voidspeaker that will need to be defeated.
Faceless Mask of Nemesis
To obtain the Faceless Mask of Nemesis you will need to collect two Nemesis Shard. You will collect one from each version on Horrific Visions. Both require at least one mask to be active. The Origrimmar one is looted from Gamon, he can be found up stairs in the inn, you need to interact with his axe on a table. The Stormwind one is looted from Hogger, you can spawn thus by clicking on his wanted poster just outside the Mage Quarter.
Faceless Mask of Multitudes
To obtain this mask you need to complete all objectives within a single visit of a Horrific Vision with at least 3 masks active.
We recommend using the Burned Bridge, Dark Imagination and Nemesis faceless masks as they are the easiest to complete.
Step 3 - Complete Horrific Vision of Orgrimmar
When you enter the Horrific Vision of Orgrimmar make sure to activate all 8 masks, this is a significant challenge as each mask adds 25% damage and health to enemies for a total of 200%. In addition you will have reduced sanity and a lot more enemies.
Step 4 - Complete Horrific Vision of Stormwind
When you enter the Horrific Vision of Stormwind make sure to activate all 8 masks, this is a significant challenge as each mask adds 25% damage and health to enemies for a total of 200%. In addition you will have reduced sanity and a lot more enemies.
Once you have completed both, you will earn the achievement Mastering the Visions which rewards the Ny’alothan Shadow Worm.
