Light-Forged Mechsuit Mount

How to get the Light-Forged Mechsuit Mount

The Light-Forged Mechsuit is a mount that can only be earnt during the Midnight Pre-Patch event. It is a reward from the Two Minutes to Midnight Achievement this achievement requires you to defeat all of the rares that are part of the event.

In this guide we outline all of the rares you need to defeat and how to predictably get the ones you may have missed.

To start killing the event rares you will need to complete the short quest chain which starts with The Cult within Orgrimmar from Grand Magister Rommath in Orgrimmar or Magister Umbric in Stormwind.

The final quest in this chain will be Cult it Out which takes place in the Twilight Highlands. Once this is done you can start earning rewards from the pre-patch rares.

While this is not necessary to start killing the rares we highly recommend this so you can collect the weekly quests and start earning currency for the other rewards.

There are a total of 18 rares that follow a set spawn pattern and seem to spawn within 5 to 10 minutes of one being defeated. If they are up for more than 10 minutes that specific rare will despawn and the next in the chain will spawn.

Below is the order that the rares spawn in, once all of them have spawned they will start back at the beginning and continue.

  1. Gustavan, Heard of the End
  2. Voidclaw Hexathor
  3. Mirrorvis
  4. Salifrum the Observer
  5. Redeye the Skullchewer
  6. T’aavihan the Unbound
  7. Ray of Putrescence
  8. Ix the Bloodfallen
  9. Commander Ix’vaarha
  10. Sharfadi, Bulwark of the Night
  11. Ez’Haadosh the Limininality
  12. Berg the Spellfist
  13. Corla, Herald of Twlight
  14. Void Zealot Devinda
  15. Asira Dawnslayer
  16. Archbishop Benedictus
  17. Nedrand the Eyegorger
  18. Executioner Lynthema

Once you have defeated all of the rares above you will have all but the final rare to complete the achievement.

The Voice of the Eclipse is the final rare that you need for the Two Minutes to Midnight Achievement. This rare is different from the others, it only starts spawning at the top of each hour on top of the current active rare location, it will then move when the rare does.

In the area a large void spire will spawn with a progress bar above, players in the area will notice void orbs that fall to the ground with a timer on them. If you manage to click on the void orb it will add to the progress bar. Once the progress bar is full the rare will spawn allowing you to get this step on your achievement.

Once you have killed rares you will get the achievement which rewards the title ,Definitely Not a Cultist and the Light-Forged Mechsuit mount. If you are looking for the other mount available during the Midnight Pre-patch check out our Retrained Skyrazor Mount Guide.
