The Black-Furred Bakkar and Liquid Hot Magma Slug are new mounts released in Patch 12.0.7 of the Midnight WoW Expansion. Each of these mounts can be purchased for 5,000 Timewarped Badges from the Dragonflight Timewalking Vendor, totaling to 10,000 Timewarped Badges for both of the mounts.
Note: These mounts can only be purchased when Dragonflight Timewalking is active.
This guide outlines some of the ways you can farm Timewarped Badges and where you can find the Dragonflight Timewalking Vendor, Xydan.

Farming Timewarped Badges
Before you can purchase any of the mounts you will need to farm a large amount of Timewarped Badges, 5000 for one of the mounts, or 10,000 for both of the mounts.
There are a few ways you can farm Timewarped Badges, but the primary source for Timewarped Badges is going to be from running Timewalking Dungeons.
Note: Timewarped Badges are a Warband Currency, meaning you can send Timewarped Badges between characters if you need to.
Completing Timewalking Dungeons
The amount of Timewarped Badges you will gain can vary from each Dungeon, as you will get different amounts based on the amount of bosses inside of the Dungeons:
- 10 Timewarped Badges for each non-end Dungeon Boss.
- 20 Timewarped Badges from the Final Dungeon Boss.
- 25 Timewarped Badges for completing a Timewalking Dungeon.
You should queue for the “Random Timewalking Dungeon” in the LFG system, ideally as a Tank or a Healer for slightly quicker queue times and complete as many as you can. Doing them with friends can also help speed up the process as they will usually go quicker because of the coordination.
You can also slightly optimize this by swapping through eligible characters for the first Timewalking Dungeon completion quest each week.
Completing the Timewalking Weekly Quest
One of the other ways to farm Timewarped Badges is to complete the weekly quest that you will receive upon completing your first Timewalking Dungeon, Lost Iridescent Flightstone.
After hand-in and completion of this quest you will receive 500 Timewarped Badges. This quest can be completed once per character, meaning you can do it on multiple characters, but after your account’s first completion each week the reward is reduced to 200 Timewarped Badges. So it’s still worth doing them on different characters for the extra little boost of Timewarped Badges whilst farming the regular drops.
Purchasing the Mounts
After collecting either 5,000 or 10,000 Timewarped Badges you can purchase the mounts from Xydan, the Dragonflight Timewalking Vendor. Xydan can be found at The Bronze Enclave inside of Valdrakken.
