Talents:

You can pick Elemental Blast / Lashing Flames.

Legendary:

You want to use Witch Doctor’s Wolf Bones.

Covenant:

You want to play as a Night Fae on this encounter.

Notes:

You always want to focus on the adds over the boss. Flame Shock won’t usually spread from the boss to adds as his hitbox is too big and the adds are too far from the center of the boss. Astral Shift when you get Sear or Searing Ablation.

Legendary:

You want to use Witch Doctor’s Wolf Bones.

Covenant:

You want to play as a Night Fae on this encounter.

Talents:

You can pick Elemental Blast / Lashing Flames.

Notes:

If you got a good melee stack going on, you can Fae Transfusion a bit outside the melee camp to stay in Field of Blossoms even when you need to move for Devouring Blood. Don’t Fae Transfusion just before Retch happens. Save it until after. Astral Shift just before removing Ephemera Dust with Ravening Burrow.

Talents:

Legendary:

You want to use Witch Doctor’s Wolf Bones.

Covenant:

You want to play as a Night Fae on this encounter.

Notes:

This boss is pretty uneventful for melee and not doing the Mythic platforms. However, it will be hard to stay in your Field of Blossoms depending on the tank movement, so swap to Niya if you have trouble doing so. Astral Shift the Glyph of Relocation.

Talents:

You can pick Elemental Blast / Lashing Flames.

Legendary:

You want to use Witch Doctor’s Wolf Bones.

Covenant:

You want to play as a Night Fae on this encounter.

Notes:

Use Soulshape to avoid the very first ring. It will be up for the next set. On the triple rings, just sit in Soulshape and avoid all three rings instead of greeding for damage. The damage check is basically irrelevant now that we have double legendaries. Save Sundering for add spawns and always hard swap to them. Astral Shift either during the shield or when you are soaking the beam.

Legendary:

You want to use Primal Lava Actuators

Covenant:

You want to play as a Necrolord on this encounter.

Notes:

Make sure to maintain Lashing Flames on all bosses; doing it on the melee Necrotic Ritualist is nice but unnecessary as it will just die to passive cleave. Use a Focus interrupt macro to make interrupting Gloom Bolt or Anima Bolt easy without having to target the respective bosses. Putting a countdown on Wracking Pain in BigWigs makes it easy to avoid. Unfortunately, this does not work for Animastorm, where the countdown will only be displayed for the initial cast.

Talents:

You can pick Elemental Blast / Lashing Flames.

Legendary:

You want to use Witch Doctor’s Wolf Bones.

Covenant:

You want to play as a Night Fae on this encounter.

Notes:

For your Manifest Mote positions, try to get one that can keep hitting the boss, as Enhancement suffers from losing uptime. Most raids should have no issue meeting the Synthesize damage check, so feel free to use Fae Transfusion on the boss instead of holding it and leave the Synthesize checks to the Demonology Warlocks. Hold Sundering for Degeneration Automa after the Defense Matrix Automa has died. Use Wind Rush Totem to help your raid get to the Protoform Schematic quickly.

Talents:

You can pick Elemental Blast / Lashing Flames.

Legendary:

You want to use Witch Doctor’s Wolf Bones.

Covenant:

You want to play as a Night Fae on this encounter.

Notes:

As of the April 27th nerf, your raid should be able to skip all Reclaims on this boss without much issue. This means that you don’t have to put much effort into placing good Shattered Prisms. Just get out of melee and have them dispelled by your healers quickly. Place Earthbreaker missiles in a way that allows you to move back into melee to dodge Aftershock for more boss uptime. With the new push timings, you will likely have to Fae Transfusion at the start or during his walking intermission, which is better than waiting for him to reach the next arena and losing casts. Use Wind Rush Totem to help your Ranged in the walking intermission.

Legendary:

You want to use Witch Doctor’s Wolf Bones.

Covenant:

You want to play as a Night Fae on this encounter with the Korayn Soulbind, use Focused Lightning and Magma Fist as your two potency conduits.

Talents:

You can pick Elemental Blast / Lashing Flames.

Notes:

You can use Fae Transfusion on the pull, then hold the next one for the Lich King phase. Some Fae Transfusion line up with Befouled Barrier, and it is definitely worth using the healing portion on those. You get one Fae Transfusion between the first and the second Lich King phase. Aim to get maximum hits with Sundering - use it on the Lost Souls if outside, Anduin’s Doubt if inside Kingsmourne, and Fiendish Souls in the Lich King phase.

Use Astral Shift when affected by Domination Word: Pain, particularly if it overlaps with Befouled Barrie or Hopebreaker. Help your Death Knight out in Kingsmourne by putting your Earthbind Totem where he is gathering Anduin’s Doubt.

Legendary:

You want to use Witch Doctor’s Wolf Bones.

Covenant:

You want to play as a Night Fae on this encounter with the Dreamweaver Soulbind, however replace Essential Extraction with Chilled to the Core.

Notes:

Don’t use Feral Spirit and Fae Transfusion on the pull. You want to line them up with Unto Darkness. Sundering, you can use on the pull, but make sure always to get a use into Unto Darkness as well. Make sure to maintain Lashing Flames on both bosses at all times. Use Astral Shift during Unto Darkness.

If people mess up and stand in Slumber Cloud, you can get them out with Tremor Totem. This doesn’t work for Aura of Shadows, though, which is a horrify and not a fear.

Legendary:

You want to use Witch Doctor’s Wolf Bones.

Covenant:

You want to play as a Night Fae on this encounter with the Korayn Soulbind, use Focused Lightning and Magma Fist as your two potency conduits.

Notes:

You don’t have to hold cooldowns on this fight. Make sure to maintain Wild Hunt Strategem and First Strike as much as possible by hitting Collapsing Quasars with Crash Lightning or Chain Lightning. The boss and the Collapsing Quasars have massive hitboxes, so Chain Lightning will bounce very far, making it easy to maintain Korayns buffs. The first set of Collapsing Quasars after each The Singularity will need to die rather quickly, so make sure you always swap to them on these sets.

Use Astral Shift outside The Singularity; there is a lot of random damage events in this encounter, and soaking the Cosmic Cores will be covered by healer cooldowns. Having damage reduction up while soaking them will also make the soak take longer, which you want to avoid.

The Jailer

Legendary:

You want to use Witch Doctor’s Wolf Bones.

Covenant:

You want to play Night Fae on this encounter with the Niya Soulbind, as standing in Dreamweavers Field of Blossoms is not feasable in a lot of situations. This, however, may have changed after all the nerfs with P3 and P4 were basically deleted, but I haven’t personally played nerfed Jailer yet.

Notes:

The most important part of Jailer is to pick a spot for each Tyranny and Torment and to be there every single pull, so you don’t get in the way of your fellow raiders. Make sure you always have either Spirit Walk or Soulshape ready when Rune of Damnation comes up, as getting into your assigned hole can be tricky without.

Use Astral Shift on your assigned Misery soaks. Your raid will most likely use Symbol of Hope to reduce its cooldown so you can use it on both your soaks.

You can get yourself out of Rune of Compulsion by putting down Tremor Totem before you get mind-controlled. When you do this, don’t be with the other Mind Controls so you don’t get stunned by them.

In P2, save Sundering for Rune of Compulsion. In P3 save it for Incarnations of Torment. Use Fae Transfusion whenever you can hit the boss for the duration of Seeds of Rampant Growth. In the newer speed kill strategies it is worth delaying your Fae Transfusion for the 6 stacks of Azerite Radiation in both P1 and start of P4 with Bloodlust.

Notes: Use Windrush Totem if your group is in a bad position for the Fated Conjunction. Save Sundering for Fatespawn Anomalies. During the intermission while you are outranging/line of sighting the Fatespawn Monstrosities Despair is a good time to channel your Fae Transfusion. If you are selected to do runes use your off-healing capabilities.

Notes: If you are assigned to do the Phylactery, hold Ascendance for the Remnant of Kel’Thuzad. If you are Night Fae make sure you channel Fae Transfusion as the first thing in the Phylactery before the Shadow Fissures start spawning, as you won’t be able to afterwards. If you are assigned to outside hold Ascendance for the intermission add spawns, except for the last intermission where you should delay it for the last phase instead. Use Astral Shift for when the Glacial Spikes die.

Legendary: Witch Doctor’s Wolf Bones

Notes: There are several abilities in this fight that Windrush Totem will be useful to avoid. Using it for Veil of Darkness is always useful.

In Phase 1 and the intermission you can also use it to help with the Domination Chains.

In Phase 2 you can also use it to help your raid get faster across the bridges.

In Phase 3 use it for the pre Banshee Scream spread.

In Phase 2 dispel Curse of Lethargy on cooldown while you are fighting a Mawforged Summoner.
