Spawn of Vyranoth Mount Guide

The Spawn of Vyranoth is a Midnight flying mount earned from the Master of the Turbulent Timeways V achievement, which is only available during the Turbulent Timeways event running from June 30th - August 11th, 2026. After the event, Spawn of Vyranoth is purchasable from Timewalking vendors for 5,000 Timewarped Badges.

To complete Master of the Turbulent Timeways V, you must earn the Mastery of the Timeways buff for 4 separate weeks. This can be done starting at level 10 by queueing for Timewalking Dungeons through the Dungeon Finder. Progress toward earning Master of the Turbulent Timeways V is account‑wide, so you don’t need to earn Mastery of the Timeways on the same character each week.

Important: The Turbulent Timeways event lasts 6 weeks, and since you need 4 weeks of progress to earn the achievement, you can only miss 2 weeks!

Standard Method

Each Timewalking Dungeon you complete grants Knowledge of Timeways, a 2-hour stacking buff. After reaching 4 stacks, it turns into Mastery of the Timeways, which lasts 2 hours and counts as 1 week of progress toward the achievement.

You’ll need to obtain Mastery of the Timeways a total of 4 times, across 4 different weeks, to earn Master of the Turbulent Timeways V before August 11th, 2026.

Fastest Method (Using an Alt)

If you want to minimize dungeon runs, the most efficient strategy is to use a character you don’t actively play. This method works because the Mastery of the Timeways buff must stay active between weekly resets, and using an alt you never log into prevents the buff from accidentally expiring.

Instead of rebuilding Knowledge of Timeways stacks every week, you can earn Mastery of the Timeways once on an alt, log out before the buff expires, and wait for the weekly reset. When you log back in the following week, your character will still have last week’s Mastery of the Timeways buff active. Completing just 1 Timewalking Dungeon will refresh the buff and count as your next week of progress, allowing you to skip stacking Knowledge of Timeways entirely for the remaining weeks.

Obtaining Spawn of Vyranoth After Turbulent Timeways

If you weren’t able to earn Master of the Turbulent Timeways V before it became a Feat of Strength, the Spawn of Vyranoth mount is purchasable from any Timewalking vendor for 5,000 Timewarped Badges.

One example is the Legion Timewalking vendor Aridormi, found in Legion Dalaran. Keep in mind that each expansion’s vendor is only available during its corresponding Timewalking event, so availability rotates throughout the Timewalking schedule.
