Patch 10.0.7 has an official release date of March 21st 2023 for US realms and March 22nd 2023 for EU. This Patch includes content on the Forbidden Reach, which you can unlock with a short questline.
Unlocking the Forbidden Reach
When you first log in during the new patch, a quest named "Hidden Legacies" will automatically show up.
After accepting this quest, you need to speak to the Healing Wings Envoy (Kurazidaia), located at the Seat of the Aspects in Valdrakken (at the top of the largest tower in Valdrakken).
Interact with Kurazidaia and click "Tell me what happened". After watching the cutscene (or skipping it), you can then complete the quest Hidden Legacies.
You will then be able to accept a new quest, Return to the Reach. This quest requires you to find Viridia in the Forbidden Reach.
You can fly to the Forbidden reach with Dragonriding, or you can optionally fly there with the Flight Master from Valdrakken (Aluri) by pressing the Quest option when interacting with them.
When you reach Scalecommander Viridia in Morqut Village, you can hand in the quest.
Once you get to this point, you can now accept more quests to progress through the Forbidden Reach content that is now available. And don't forget to pickup the Forbidden Reach flight point from Flight Master Renpiaq.
