Stat Priorities

Stat Ranking

Single Target: Crit > Mastery > Haste > Versatility

Mythic+: Crit > Mastery > Versatility > Haste

The best way to calculate stat priorities for your character is to "sim" your character. Method Raider Jaerv has written a series of Metafy articles to help!

How to Sim in World of Warcraft

Races

Demon Hunter only has two race options that being Blood Elf and Night Elf.

The best Demon Hunter race is Blood Elf due to the 1% crit (from Arcane Acuity) and Arcane Torrent which can help you if you get starved on Fury.

However, Night Elves do gain the Shadowmeld spell which can situationally be very powerful in a Mythic+ environment.

The differences between the races are minuscule and I'd recommend picking whichever you prefer.

Enchants

Weapon raid: 2x Wafting Devotion

Weapon Mythic+: 2x Sophic Devotion

Helmet: Incandescent Essence

Chest: Enchant Chest - Waking Stats

Rings: Enchant Ring - Devotion of Critical Strike

Legs:  Fierce Armor Kit

Cloak: Enchant Cloak - Graceful Avoidance

Bracers: Enchant Bracer - Devotion of Avoidance

Boots: Watcher’s Loam

Belt: Shadowed Belt Clasp

Always make sure to Sim yourself to see what stat is currently your best.

Gems

Primalist Gem (1 unique): Inscribed Illimited Diamond

Sensei’s Alexstraszite ( Crit > Mastery) or Crafty Alexstraszite ( Crit > Haste ) depending on your current stat values and if you focus on raid or Mythic+.

Note: Gems that provide 2x offstats give an additional amount of stats overall.

Always make sure to Sim yourself to see what stat is currently your best.

Consumables

Flask: Iced Phial of Corrupting Rage is the best flask however it comes with some negative side effects so if you want to be safer use Phial of Tepid Versatility.

Potion: Elemental Potion of Ultimate Power / Elemental Potion of Power (cheaper but weaker)

Healing Potion: With patch 10.2 2x new healing potions were introduced, both of them being stronger than last seasons. Firstly it’s Dreamwalker’s Healing Potion, Healing on use and over a 6 second period. Secondly it’s Potion of Withering Dreams, which is a massive heal with a negative effect of leaving a DoT dealing damage over time, however in most situations this won’t be a problem for Havoc due to their passive Magic DR and massive leech healing.

Food: Grand Banquet of the Kalu’ak or Thousandbone Tongueslicer either of them could be your best food depending on your stat values so worth simming.

Sharpening Stones: Buzzing Rune
