Tier Sets
The War Within Season 1 Augmentation Evoker Tier Set:
- (2) Set Bonus: Upheaval deals 30% increased damage and increases the damage of your next 2 Eruption casts by 30%.
- (4) Set Bonus: Ebon Might increases primary stats by an additional 0.4% of your own every 2 seconds it remains active, up to 2%.
The 2 Set Bonus gives you more reliability in dealing damage you deal on your own, which usually feels great since this means you can make more meaningful decisions in prioritizing damage on the correct targets.
The 4 Set Bonus passively buffs Ebon Might over its duration.
Both Set Bonuses don’t affect your rotation and so are easy to adapt to.

Scalecommander: Intellect > Haste = Mastery = Critical Strike > Versatility
Chronowarden: Intellect > Mastery = Critical Strike > Haste > Versatility

Trinkets
Trinkets for Augmentation are a bit different from other “normal” dps specs. Depending on the damage profile of the classes you want to buff, different trinkets can perform better or worse. However Breath of eons lines up well with 2 minute cooldowns so having a trinket that can support this synergy even more is usually a great fit!
Some good on use trinkets are:
Spymaster’s Web - This trinket stacks a buff on yourself that slightly increases your Intellect. When used these stacks are consumed and converted into a bigger intellect buff per stack. You want to consume stacks with your last Breath of Eons of the fight to sit on as many stacks as possible for a long time. Also make sure to consume a 40 Stacks Spymasters halfway through longer fights to not overcap them. If you find yourself at the end of a fight / dungeon and want to get some extra intellect in you can weave in some casts since the trinkets cooldown is only 20 seconds.
Mad Queen’s Mandate - This trinket has almost all its value in the on use effect which hits your target after a short cast with a big amount of damage. If you manage to kill your target with the trinket its cooldown is reduced by 60 seconds.
Following up on the second slot you want to have any trinket that benefits you with a stat boost and/or a flat damage proc.
Ara-Kara Sacbrood - A mix between a stat boost and a damage proc.
Unbound Changeling - Is a simple stat stick with some variation. You want to evaluate your stats and eat the correct food to make Unbound Changeling give you the stat your character needs the most. Mastery or Critical Strike are the best to use most of the time.
Hadal’s Nautilus - An Intellect stat stick with a proccing damage effect. Simple and doesn’t need any attention in terms of rotational gameplay.
Embellishments
Currently there are a few options for Embellishments and Crafted gear.
You want to Craft a Weapon with Either Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension for raiding content or Blessed Weapon Grip for Mythic+ Content.
Follow this up with either a Binding of Binding ring craft or any Non-Tier Slot with Dawnthread Lining or Elemental Focusing Lens.
