Tier Sets
The War Within Season 3 Augmentation Evoker Tier Set:
In Season 3 each Hero Talent has their own bonuses. Currently both 4 sets are quite poorly tuned and don’t interact with your kit well so it is better to play 2 set from Season 2 in combination with 2 set from Season 3.
Chronowarden
- 2 Set: Tip the Scales' cooldown is reduced by 60 sec.
- 4 Set: Temporal Burst causes Chrono Flames to strike 2 additional targets and repeat 15% additional damage or healing, up to a maximum of 450% spellpower.
60 second Tip the Scales has pushed Chronowarden to play 2 minute Breath of Eons. Having more Temporal Burst uptime increases the amount of damage Threads of Fate can do across a fight. Sadly 4 piece is not that interesting as it just buffs our main filler.
Scalecommander
- 2 Set: While flying during Breath of Eons and for 10 seconds after, you command a squadron of 2 Dracthyr who will attack your targets with Disintegrate and Pyre.
- 4 Set: While your squadron is active, your Mass Eruption strikes up to 2 additional targets. In addition, your squadron assists you for 5 additional sec.
Pyres from Scalecommander tier set provide extra burst on AoE, in its current state you should remain flying in breath for about 1.5 seconds for all 8 pyres to hit.

As of right now, it is better to play 2 set from Season 2 at max item level in combination with 2 set from Season 3.
Overall Best Gear
If you are planning to use Breath of Eons as a 2 min cooldown, it can be better to play Araz’s Ritual Forge instead of Diamantine Voidcore.

Trinkets
Trinkets for Augmentation are a bit different from other “normal” dps specs. Depending on the damage profile of the classes you want to buff, different trinkets can perform better or worse.
Some good on use trinkets are:
Araz’s Ritual Forge - Grants a large amount of intellect that decays over 30 seconds.
Signet of the Priory - Simple stat stick with a 2 minute on use effect that buffs your highest secondary stat and also nearby allies by the same stat but a smaller number.
Lily of the Eternal Weave - 1.5 minute on use trinket that grants mastery.
Perfidious Projector - a 2 minute cooldown trinket that does a large amount of damage split between your target and nearby enemies, a decent trinket when playing Chronowarden.
Some good passive trinkets are:
Azhiccaran Parapodia - very strong trinket which can proc intellect off your damaging abilities.
Ara-Kara Sacbrood - a similar trinket to Azhiccaran Parapodia but provides less intellect .
Diamantine Voidcore - good trinket from raid that can proc intellect. It also empowers your special weapons from the raid making the damage proc do 200% more damage while you have the trinket proc active.
Naazindhri’s Mystic Lash - does random procs of damage which increase based on not only how many targets you’re fighting but also how much mastery you have, a decent trinket when playing Chronowarden.
Embellishments
The most efficient combination to go for early on is crafting a 2 handed weapon (Vagabound’s Bounding Baton, Charged Invoker) with a Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension on it. Double the bonus by crafting a Writhing Armor Binding on any low item level piece your character currently has, for example wrists.
As soon as you get your hands on a good myth track one handed weapon and have spare crests for it, you should recraft ascension to off hand and still keep the Writhing Armor Binding.
For m+ Binding of Binding in combination with Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension on offhand is also a good option.
Best D.I.S.C Belt & Miniature Titan Disc Effects
This belt can be replaced as soon as new belts exceed its item level.
Recommended Titan Discs for Augmentation Evoker:
When using the D.I.S.C. belt you want to socket it with the Static Charge power for all content.

Reshii Wraps
This cloak is very important as it allows you to interact with certain mechanics in raid. It can be socketed with Fibers to change what secondaries the cloak has. I highly recommend simming which Fibers are best for your gear but i would highly avoid socketing the Dexterous (versatility) one.
