Gear

Tier Set

While most classes are experiencing less complicated or interactive tier sets this time compared to last tier, WW Monk’s is actually more interactive and interesting. There isn’t much to think about when it comes to this tier set and the benefits are pretty much entirely passive. One problem you may run into in single target situations is that you won’t be able to use 3 Rising Sun Kicks or Spinning Crane Kicks before your next Fists of Fury cast but you shouldn’t worry about it and just play like you normally would.

Trinkets

Recommended On Use Trinkets

Best: Manic Grieftorch, Horn of Valor, Windscar Whetstone

Good: Horn of Valor, Storm-Eater’s Boon

Recommended Passive Trinkets

Best: Ruby Whelp Shell, Spiteful Storm

Good: Whispering Incarnate Icon, Hunger of the Pack

Gear

Seal of Diurna’s Chosen is a very powerful effect when combined with Flaring Cowl as one of your two embellishments to reliably proc the effect from it.

Embellishments

Your two embellishments in a BiS (Best-in-Slot) setup should be Elemental Lariat and Flaring Cowl (to proc Seal of Diurna’s Chosen)

Make sure your Elemental Lariat has 3 sockets (from Tiered Medallion Setting) and has Radiant Malygite and 1 Resplendent Illimited Diamond socketed to optimize the proc from the necklace.

Additionally, the Alchemical Flavor Pocket can be crafted onto a piece of gear as a Quality of Life improvement that doesn’t count towards your two embellishment limit. It will make your Food Buff last twice as long and persist through death.
