Tier Sets
The War Within Season 2 Windwalker Monk Tier Set Bonus:
- (2) Set Bonus: Your spells and abilities have a chance to activate a Winning Streak! increasing the damage of your Rising Sun Kick and Spinning Crane Kick by 3% stacking up to 10 times. Rising Sun Kick and Spinning Crane Kick have a 15% chance to remove Winning Streak!
- (4) Set Bonus: Fists of Fury applies 1 stack of Winning Streak! when cast and when finished channeling completely. The damage of your next Fists of Fury is increased by 8% per stack when Winning Streak! is removed. Your Winning Streak! is always removed once it reaches max stacks.
These bonuses do not affect your playstyle or build whatsoever. Just play as you would normally.

Note: This choice comes down to your weapon situation. With the proliferation of 2-handed weapons in 11.1, there’s a good chance you need to place your embellishments elsewhere and with the limitation of Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension being only available on weapons, you may choose the alternative below. Dusk/Dawnthread Lining pulls ahead in multi-target situations where Elemental Focusing Lens is slightly better on single-target.
Puzzling Cartel Chips (Dinars)
Coming with the Turbo Boost in 11.1.5, Puzzling Cartel Chips, formerly known as Dinars, make their return. This time around there are more restrictions placed on the items available as you are only able to buy items from bosses you’ve killed. Below are the recommendations I have; these are sorted in order of importance and based on the content they are relevant in (Raid and M+). Minor Disclaimer: The recommendations may change based on what items you already have, so make sure to sim yourself as well.

Corruption
Coming later in patch 11.1.5 with the return of Horrific Visions, you are able to enchant one corruption effect onto your helmet. Disclaimer: The tuning of these effects seem to be somewhat ongoing but as of May 11, these are my recommendations:
Greater Rune of Void Ritual - This is slightly behind Gushing Wound in pure single target but is applicable in more situations. If you’re looking to min-max to an extreme degree, you could swap to/from Void Ritual and Gushing Wound depending on the situation, but it will be a super small increase (0.5%).

Cyrce’s Circlet
Introduced in Patch 11.0.7 and obtained from the Siren Isle, this ring is BiS once you obtain the best gems. The ring will grow in power over 6 weeks to 658 item level.
Disclaimer: Blizzard have been frequently tuning the power level of the gems leading up to the 11.0.7 patch as the ring was underperforming. It is possible that the recommendations below change if further tuning occurs. As of updating this guide for Patch 11.1, this should still see use unless it is nerfed. This has been updated for the Feb 28th Hotfix nerfs.
