Morbent Fel Mission Guide

This guide focuses on the Heroic Morbent Fel encounter in Duskwood but also works for the normal version.

Morbent Fel has a 75% damage shield against Physical, Siege, and Elemental damage.

A special Priestess will spawn from the Town Hall every 55 seconds (3:30, 2:35, 1:40, 0:45, 0:00). The Priestess can dispel Morbent Fel’s damage shield for 60 seconds in Heroic and 105 seconds in Normal.

The Priestess has 940 health and a movement speed of 2. The Priestess ignores all other minis and moves towards Morbent Fel. She dispels the shield from a range of 9.

Morbent Fel summons a Necromancer on the left lane every 60 seconds (3:30, 2:30, 1:30, 0:30).

Morbent Fel also summons a Meat Wagon on the right lane after 25 seconds, and then every 60 seconds (3:05, 2:05, 1:05, 0:05).

Morbent Fel:

• 5250 health (Normal: 3500 health)
• Death Coil: 285 Elemental damage (Normal: 190 Elemental damage), 1.5 seconds attack speed, 9 range

General strategy

You need to escort the Priestess to Morbent Fel to take down his damage shield. However, unless you outlevel the encounter, you will have a hard time escorting the initial Priestess and defending your base at the same time.

Send your first attack up the right lane to take the Tower. This helps to secure your base. Then, wait for the second Priestess to spawn at 2:35 and escort her up the left lane to Morbent Fel.

Morbent Fel has some excellent big minis in his army, so Banshee can be a great option for stealing some Abominations and Gargoyles.
