Method PUBG Gets a Team Captain!

News Header

With PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds rapidly growing, having recently beaten out Dota 2 for most concurrent users on Steam and having sold over 8 million copies, we decided it was time to get a Method team together. While the team itself is still being formed, we do have a great team captain joining AndyPyro: Jamon "RaptorDaRaptor" Morez, the EU #1 and NA Season 2 #1 in PUBG duos!

PUBG is one of the most exciting new esports titles of the past few years. We knew early on that Andy is a beast, but building a full roster has been quite challenging, as it is with every new esports contender. Raptor is not only incredibly good at the game, but he also comes with an uplifting winner's mentality that a good captain needs. I'm looking forward to working with him on completing the roster and hopefully winning many titles in upcoming tournaments! - Method co-owner Sascha "Rak" Steffens

There was some PUBG action at this year's gamescom as well, with several Method members giving it a go in the 350,000$ PUBG gamescom Invitational, where AndyPyro, Djarii, Hotted and Cloud9's own Forsen were playing in the 4 individual tournaments and Andy and Forsen took home 3rd place in the 3rd day Dup FPP event.

Meanwhile we're still hard at work building the official Method team:

I've been a solo performer for 3 years and can’t wait to work with Method. As a gamer I hope Battlegrounds will grow into valid esport game so I can represent such a nice organisation.

I wanted Raptor on the team because of his natural IGL personality. He's a smart tactician who gives me the opportunity to focus on my strengths in the game.

The full team roster will be coming soon, so keep checking the Method twitter for all the latest info!
