Some content in this guide is based on beta or early data

Updates will be made after raid progress is finished and more accurate information is available.

The best covenant for Fire Mage is Night Fae for both Mythic+ and Raid.

Night Fae’s signature ability, Shifting Power, provides the cooldown reduction needed along with kindling to make Combustion a 1-minute cooldown.

The other ability, Soulshape, provides more mobility to an already extremely mobile class.

When the full tree is unlocked go for Niya or Korayn for the damage increase.

At the start, Dreamweaver will provide you with two potency conduits early on.

Soulbinds and Conduits

Single Target: Infernal Cascade + Controlled Destruction

Cleave(M+): Infernal Cascade + Master Flame

Infernal Cascade increased your fire damage when you use Fire Blast in Combustion for 5 seconds.

Controlled Destruction is a passive increase to Pyroblast damage while Master Flame is a passive increase to Flamestrike damage.

The finesse conduits to go for are Flow of Time or Grounding Surge.

Flow of Time reduces the cooldown of Blink.

Grounding Surge reduces the cooldown of Counterspell when you interrupt a target.

Use any of the 3.

Disciplinary Command

Disciplinary Command - This one is a strong option for single target but falls off in AoE situations.

Fevered Incantation

Fevered Incantation - Increases your crit damage, this is going to be the go-to legendary for fire mage in the raid.

Firestorm - It's close to Fevered Incantation on ST and AoE and offers a rapid-fire playstyle. This is the best legendary for Mythic+ as it allows you to spam Flamestrike with Flame patch. While also being strong for the raid.

I would recommend this legendary for someone that wants to do both Mythic+ and raiding.

Temporal Warp

Temporal Warp - Allows you to use Time Warp while affected by Temporal Displacement. This is a really strong option for raiding as Frost and Arcane can use it as well.

However, this legendary requires the Mage to be Night Fae and a Bloodlust effect to be used on pull to get the most out of it.

It's really important that a Fire Mage uses the PvP Badge trinket. It increases your primary stat on a one-minute cooldown, which makes it have incredible synergy with Kindling and Shifting Power.

As for the second trinket you can use Unbound Changeling or Insignia. Honestly, it’s whichever trinket sims the best for your character.
