The Anima Powers you’re looking for roughly in order are: Elethium Weights > Huddled Carvings > Tremorbeast Heart > Potent Acid Gland > Erratic Howler > Heart-Seeking Fang > 3x Any Secondary Stat.

Use your Stampeding Roar during Hungering Mist to help people get to the safe spot.

Lastly, make sure to save Cooldowns for Phase 2, where your Anima Powers get removed and you have to burn the boss from 10%.

Legendary Choice: Draught of Deep Focus or Celestial Spirits

Celestial Spirits is quite nice since it allows you to have a Convoke the Spirits up for every intermission.

Use your Stampeding Roar during/right before Annihilating Glare to help people get to the chains so they can jump across.

Note that you can get a single GCD in while you’re mid chain jump and should be doing your best to time it so you spend most, if not all, of that time pooling, making it so you have effectively no downtime outside of your auto attacks. You can/should use Wild Charge to dash to the boss after the jump as well.

I would also recommend using an Extra Action Button Macro to jump across.

/click ExtraActionButton1

You can use Soulshape to blink through Annihilating Glare but this is neither extremely consistent to pull off nor a significant DPS gain at all, and you won’t have Soulshape up for every single beam.

Wild Charge has been fixed and now correctly consistently places you in front of the boss, increasing uptime.

Maintain both Rip and Rake on Stygian Abductors while they’re up if you’re using Celestial Spirits but only Rake if you’re using Draught of Deep Focus.

Finally, make sure to save Cooldowns for the last Phase burn where you should be using both Bloodlust and second potions. Never hold Convoke if you’re using Celestial Spirits, since it will almost definitely come up again during the duration of Bloodlust, where you get to sync it with both Berserk and Inscrutable Quantum DeviceJotungeirr.

Legendary Choice: Celestial Spirits

This fight is a great example of an encounter where Celestial Spirits shines. Due to the fight being roughly 25% 2T Cleave and 75% Single Target, neither Draught of Deep Focus nor Apex Predator’s Craving are particularly good, though both are fine.

You should consider running Niya’s Tools: Poison along with Carnivorous Instinct, since Poison gets a decent amount of value and Carnivorous Instinct gains value on Multi Target, while Niya’s Tools: Burrs loses value because of how much movement there is in this fight.

Stampeding Roar helps with both Wings of Rage and Reverberating Refrain.

Make sure to either Owlweave every time you have to run out to get dispelled when you get Fragments of Destiny on you, or pop out of form and self heal if things are looking rough, especially later on. You should be using Barkskin basically every single time you get this mechanic and Survival Instincts if things are looking especially spicy and/or your Barkskin isn’t available.

You can alternate between using Wild Charge and Skull Bash to ignore the knockbacks from Malevolence.

Do your best to position yourself in a way that Convoke will hit inactive Orbs of Torment as little as possible.

If you get Malevolence yourself, the easiest way to deal with it is to face away from the boss while at the edge, be in Moonkin Form and cast Wild Charge as you get dispelled. That way, if you get knocked off the platform, you’ll get back on and if you don’t get knocked at all you will jump out of the Lingering Malevolence.

Make sure to never Owlweave right before Malevolence if it’s not on you, as the only thing you can do to live if you’re knocked back while in Moonkin Form is to 180° Wild Charge  or Soulshape, both options being fairly awkward.

You should be hard swapping to Mawsworn Overlords when Brands of Torment are on them , but otherwise focus the boss and let Mawsworn Agonizers be dealt with by people who can cleave them efficiently.

Owlweave if you’re forced out of range of the boss during Torment.

Use Stampeding Roar during Torment.

Legendary Choice: Draught of Deep Focus or Celestial Spirits  or Frenzyband

The downtime on this boss combined with potential kill timers that are very favourable for this options, make Frenzyband a very valid choice, especially when you get to actually use the Cooldown Reduction to get an extra cast of Berserk off.

You can Soulshape through the Spiked Balls, but there’s rarely a reason to.

You should also be abusing the Spiked Balls to guarantee generating 2 Combo Points with your Brutal Slash and Thrash, while also swapping to them when needed (while will most likely be later on in the fight, especially after the nerfs).

Very straightforward boss, only real pointers are to Owlweave during forced downtime and to use Tiger Dash to get in place for Threat Neutralization on the pillars.

Make sure to pool resources for both Shade of Destiny and the Fatespawn Anomalies it will then spawn.

Tiger Dash along with your excellent self healing and survivability makes you an excellent backup for Runic Affinity.

Tiger Dash also helps you deal with Grim Portent, by either allowing you to get to your soak in time if you spot it late or by allowing you to get there later, giving you a bit of extra uptime.

Ursine Vigor is a very strong Endurance Conduit option on this boss, making you extremely tanky while running Runes by simply spamming Bear Form. It also allows you to survive a

Fated Conjunction without commiting your Survival Instincts, though you will still need to use Barkskin.

Make sure to Owlweave when you have to walk out with Call of Eternity.

Legendary Choice: Celestial Spirits

Feral is one of the better specs to send to the Phylactery Realm, as it’s a high movement Single Target phase where the most punishing ability you can get hit by is a Root that you can simply shapeshift out of.

You should also use an Extra Action Button Macro to enter and leave the Phylactery Realm.

/click ExtraActionButton1

If you’re not in the Phylactery Realm, do your best to cleave effectively, with Unstoppable Abominations being your main focus. You can alternatively solely focus the Soul Reaver that spawns the furthest away, ensuring every dies relatively evenly before the Phylactery Realm group is done.

You should definitely run Niya’s Tools: Poison along with Carnivorous Instinct, since Poison gets a decent amount of value and Carnivorous Instinct gains value on Multi Target.

Make sure to hold onto your Cooldowns for the final P1 burn right after the third intermission.

Ursine Vigor is a very strong Endurance Conduit option on this boss, allowing you to soak Frost Blast at very low risk. Simply enter Bear Form at least 4 seconds before it lands and then go back to Cat Form. Doing this minimises damage taken while also dispelling the root and debuff.

Legendary Choice: Celestial Spirits

This is one of the rare occasions where using Heart of the Wild with Convoke the Spirits can be a very valid choice at multiple points throughout the fight. Normally, the main issue with doing that is that Starfall is not guaranteed and, especially with Celestial Spirits, it’s even less likely.

There is one workaround for this. Casting Convoke the Spirits with no viable targets you’re in combat with in range guarantees Starfall. The way to play around this is to either cast Convoke the Spirits in Phase 1 as the Domination Arrows land, but before they become active, or in Phase 2, right before you get on a new platform, before any viable target is in range. That said, none of this is an incredibly high increase and is far from necessary.

You should also be Olweaving while running out with Wailing Arrow in Phase 3.
